Julie is a trauma-informed coach, certified diversity coach, offers emotional intelligence assessments, and is a skilled facilitator, group coach, author, and leadership development consultant.Having overcome much adversity both personally and professionally, Julie learned that leadership begins with self-leadership, and understanding the impact of the leader on others. She pursued her Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership researching the impact of the work environment on job satisfaction. A lifelong learner, Julie has completed several certifications, an MBA, and is a registered nurse having spent her healthcare career in psychiatric settings. Julie served nearly a decade as a director of nursing in behavioral healthcare where she also coached leaders internally, developed leadership training programs, and mentored others to advancement.Julie has been coaching and facilitating since 2001; she has presented to hundreds of audiences and written hundreds of articles.
