The Story Behind

Begin Here

Upon birth we instantly know. We know who we are, why we came to earth, how to be happy, and why we decided to explore this realm.

As eternal beings, we know all of this.

Then our earth life takes over and we separate from that knowledge. Some separate dramatically and others less so, but we all separate to some degree from the knowledge within us. I was no exception.

In my life, there were ordinary moments and there were extraordinary moments. Some were good, some very bad, and some quite wonderful, but through it all, I thought life was limited to five senses. I believed that what I could see, hear, touch, taste, and smell around me was all that existed. As a person who highly valued my intellect, I found that ethereal or spiritual concepts did not capture my attention for long since I deemed them unverifiable. As I lived my earthbound journey, I more or less enjoyed life, yet never found true deep dependable happiness.

Then everything changed.

While out for a run on the morning of September 11, 2001, I sensed that there was a terrorist attack happening on American soil and that the occurrence was nearby. I soon realized that this sudden knowledge I had sensed was accurate. When I returned home from my run five minutes later, a friend phoned telling me to turn on the TV, which I did in time to see the second plane hit the second tower.

The day was profound for thousands, hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, and for me personally, the experience introduced me to the concept of receiving information through means not of this earth.

As a New Yorker, it took about a year and a half to get back into a rhythm of normalcy, but once patterns and schedules reconvened, I began to get simultaneous information about happenings on earth more and more frequently. Although the accuracy was profound, more profound was a subtext that I was receiving. It was as though a narrator was dictating the meaning of life to me, explaining why things happen, how we are all interconnected, how everything trite or novel, good or bad, big or small was relevant to our purposes in being here.

I set out to develop this ability in secrecy. I was embarrassed to admit this emerging sense for fear that others would think I was crazy, and being one who so thoroughly valued my intellect and ability to reason, I assumed that others would suppose I had abandoned those qualities.

Over time, I indicated to everyone within my circle what was happening and didn’t lose a single friend, family member, or associate. I started to recognize that the perspectives I was communicating resonated with everyone -evidence that I had tapped into a source of universal knowledge. It steadied people rather than unsettled them. Conversations were bringing hope and comfort to people who had limited, if any, spiritual practices. Even those who were agnostic or practicing an organized religion seemed to respond favorably to this information.

With years of dedicated practice, I now communicate with souls who don’t have physical bodies. I can sense them one-on-one or collectively, and by sense I mean see, hear, feel, or know them. I can garner information, as well, from a source I term the river of universal knowledge.

Through the knowledge I gain using this conduit, I now offer seminars, books, audio programs, as well as professional and personal coaching to those seeking happiness. I assist individuals in discovering answers to the questions that they have about their lives, humanity, why we are all here, and how to maximize their joy and achievement. The process helps people avoid running into brick walls trying to figure out the meaning of life and the path to peaceful enjoyment. This conduit that I have tapped into provides endless information, the information we forgot after birth, to guide us in understanding our souls’ intent and how to have a happy life.

This book, Begin Here, is the third in THE ANSWERS to your questions book series, and was communicated through me by a group of souls. These souls are my guides and can be your guides as well, and they remain steadily connected to the goal of providing information that can enhance the human experience. Begin Here can change your life in deeply moving and everlasting ways. Limitless Undying Love

All love is based upon a foundation of the most essential of all loves—self-love.

Every quest, every desire, every attitude, every action, every thought, every creation, every dollar, every event, every microscopic moment is founded upon an element of self-love.

I’m confused. How can a dollar be based upon self-love? Whose self-love? And how?

Everything is based upon a foundation of self-love. For a dollar to have come into existence to begin with, self-love of the humans creating the dollar, or even the idea of the dollar before the physical dollar, was necessary. The first person who conceived of the dollar had to feel confident enough in his idea to come forth with it. He had to take pride in his ability to come up with a good idea. He had to have the self-confidence to speak about his idea to others.

We’re kind of starting at the end to get to the beginning. Begin by knowing or at least by allowing yourself to think about the idea that everything in human existence is predicated upon a foundation of self-love.

From that thought, we will begin.

In the Beginning

When we decide what we want and then act upon it, we are experiencing a very deeply complex, yet simplistic set of causes and effects.

When a child is born, she notices the effect her behavior and actions have on others She quickly determines how to alter her actions to create the results she desires. For example, if a quiet, gentle cry doesn’t result in food when she’s hungry, she will test the result of using a more forceful cry. If the latter results in someone getting her food, she will adopt that cry as the most effective method to communicate that she is hungry.

It’s very simple. The baby wants food. The baby knows she wants food and communicates as clearly as she can to others that she wants food. She gets food.

She loves herself. She loves getting food when she wants it. End of story.

Sometimes, however, the process gets complicated. She finds herself crying for longer durations before someone comes to feed her. What does this mean? Should she change her cry to gain attention? Does her family still notice her?

Perhaps these cognitions are not rational processes as we suppose we experience them as we get older, but the essence is the same.

Now imagine if the baby cries incessantly and violently for long periods before anyone attends to her hunger. Imagine this pattern replaces the pattern of others attending to her quickly. What happens? Perhaps she’ll find creative ways to make her presence impossible to ignore or perhaps she will begin to feel less lovable.

And so it goes...the first of countless circumstances where her self-love becomes vulnerable.

There are as many factors affecting one’s sensitivity toward experiencing a decrease in self-love as there are circumstances creating a vulnerability for the decrease. Her vibrational energy, her soul’s intent or quest, her disposition, her time and place of birth, her family’s energy,
