About this ebook

This book is about truth. It is a sword that separates biblical fact from decaying human dogmatic tradition. Reminiscent of the days of Martin Luther, it provides an extensive reality check of the Holy Scripture. This assessment is not to provoke disharmony but instead to promote honesty and provide heretofore shunned accuracy. The author believes that God is not threatened by the concept of truth.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:1617

The author has resisted proposing his personal interpretation or perspective. He believes that the Bible interprets itself and that no one is authorized ones own interpretation. Therefore, Scripture is used primarily without interjection. The author presents an unbiased review of not his own ideas but an impartial assessment of Scripture with reference to highly significant topics.

This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Matthew 15:89

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 4:23-24

The revelations will shake the foundations of false belief and will profoundly affect all those who call upon God in their pursuit of spiritual truth. The realism of unadulterated Scripture may challenge you and possibly shake your beliefs, but to worship God, truth must be paramount.

    Preface

The book you are reading is about truth. It is a sword that separates Biblical fact from decaying human dogmatic tradition. Not since the days of Martin Luther has there been such an extensive reality check of the Holy Scripture. This assessment is not to provoke disharmony, but instead to promote honesty and provide heretofore much shunned accuracy. The author believes the God is not threatened by the concept of truth.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

    2 Timothy 3:16-17

The King James Version of the Bible and is used exclusively in scripture reference for this project.

The KJV is arguably the least corrupted by translation assumptions and human inference. Furthermore, the KJV is more precise in usage than modern English. For example, the personal pronoun you; used for those to whom the speaker is directly addressing has four variations in the KJV: subject singular thou; subject plural ye, objective singular thee and objective plural you.

The author has resisted proposing his personal interpretation or perspective. The author believes that the Bible interprets itself; no one is authorized one’s own interpretation. Therefore scripture is used primarily without interjection. The author presents an unbiased review of not his own ideas, but an impartial assessment of Scripture with reference to highly significant topics.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost

    2 Peter 1:20-21

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

    John 4:23-24

The revelations will shake the foundations of false belief and will profoundly affect all those who call upon God in their pursuit of spiritual truth. The realism of unadulterated scripture may challenge you, and possibly shake your beliefs, but to worship God, truth must be paramount.

This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

    Matthew 15:8-9

Thank God for His wisdom in giving man the means by which truth may be separated from doctrines and commandments of men in the ultimate search for reality with God.

Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

    Hebrews 12:26-29

Chapter 1: The True Nature of God

Who is the God of the Bible? Does he have a personality? In what way are you made in his likeness? Is He perfect? What character traits does God exhibit? Does He love you? Are Jesus and God the same entity?

We feel blessed to have a protective, omnipotent Father/Creator who loves us. The Bible is replete with references establishing the goodness and perfection of God. God is love.

    God is Perfect

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

    Matt 5:48

    God is love

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love

    1 John 4:8

He is omniscient, and omnipotent. God as the All loving Father is the prevailing biblical perception.

    Omnipotent

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

    Rev 19:6

    Omnipresent

Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

    Psalm 139:7-10

    Omniscient

Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

    Psalm 44:21

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

    Hebrews 4:12-13

    Is God Perfect?

The following verses corroborate the God is perfect perspective.

    Sin separates us from God

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

    Isaiah 59:2

    God is Holy

Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

    Exodus 15:11

    God is Holy

And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

    Leviticus 20:26.

    God is Holy

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

    Isaiah 6:3

God is perfectly good and separate from sin

God himself is the only one who is perfectly good and separate from sin

    1 John 1:5

All of God’s ways are Holy

All of his ways are holy

    Psalms 77:13

God delivers the righteous out of all afflictions

The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open
