Bits and Pieces of Kingdom Wisdom and Revelation
()
About this ebook
Most of these proverbial sayings were conceived in my spirit and were birthed by the Holy Spirit, often times, when I was in prayer. Many years have passed since I started recording these sayings. I believe this book of Spirit filled wisdom shouldve been blessing people everywhere long ago.
My greatest desire for this book is that every reader will discover a greater passion for purpose, and a greater desire to grow in kingdom revelation, which will be beneficial for kingdom living. This book contains a wealth of,
what I believe to be: wise spiritual snacks, lunch and occasionally, readers might discover a full meal to dine on, which iswithout a doubtgood for the spirit, soul and body.
Bishop Robert L. Gethers
It was my call to ministry that humbled me, and has compelled, and propelled my heart to many hours of prayer; which is what forced me into God’s presence, and it was also there, where this book was actually birth. It was my ministry and the hundreds of hours of prayer, over the past twenty-nine years plus, that have pushed me. Even though, when I first started out, many thought—and some seemed satisfied to make it known—that I did not have enough experience to pastor a church: especially, after being saved for only a year; neither did Moses have experience, when God called him to lead his people out of Egypt, but God used him! I enjoy receiving the short sayings of wisdom and revelation, which the Lord usually gives to me, each time I enter into his presence in prayer. I grew up during a time when the older people were better at speaking a clichés, than those who learned from books. I learned many short sayings of wisdom, over the years; some have help in delivering my soul out of many dangerous situations. I believe the sayings that are in this book, are directly from the heart of God, which is why I also believe they are sure to, motivate, educate and encourage every reader. These sayings are also integrated with kingdom inspiration and are sure to inspire kingdom seekers. Before I forget, I must acknowledge my wife, Mary who employed many hours of proof reading to help make this book what it is. She also helped with the idea to create this cover—great job, Mary! Thanks, with lots of love! So, if you’re ready…, you will need to buckle up; hold on to your spiritual hat; you are about to go for a spiritual ride of a lifetime!

It was my call to ministry that humbled me, and has compelled and propelled my heart to many hours of prayer; which often, ushered me into God’s presence. It was, also, in his presence, this book was actually birthed. It was my ministry and the hundreds of hours in prayer, over the years, that have unction me, along with the Holy Spirit to write these short pieces of wisdom. I have found great joy from the little bits and pieces of wisdom and revelation, which the Lord gave me, almost, every time I enter into his presence in prayer.
I grew up during a time when the older people were better at speaking clichés, than what they learned from books. Over the years, I’ve learned many short words of wisdom; some have, indeed, delivered my soul out of many dangerous situations. I believe the wisdom that is in this book came directly from the heart of God, which is why I also believe this book is sure to, motivate, educate and encourage every reader. Chapter 1
Kingdom relationship
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men (Rom. 14:17, 18).
Of everything I have ever experienced or learned in life, my greatest joy came when I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost; of course, this was followed by many other good and perfect gifts. For instance, when God opened the eyes of my heart to impart unto me a measure of revelation and understanding of the kingdom of God, and its function in the body of Christ today; it was like putting icing on a cake
. The kingdom of God is a heavenly entity that is placed in the heart of believers, by God, at conversion. The kingdom of God is, also, known as the kingdom of heaven because it came to earth from God out of heaven. It is governed and ruled by God; therefore, its laws, rules, principles and values are different from those that govern the world’s system. People belonging to the kingdom of God are supposed to show the people of the world, God’s way of doing things in the earth. You are about to enter into a flood of: bits and pieces
of kingdom concepts.
Kingdom concepts
1. Just so you’ll know: kingdom-minded people have a knack of speaking from a kingdom prospective; it comes, supernaturally, with the territory. Even when we try to preach or teach a message without using the word, kingdom
the message of the kingdom is still not silent. We are likely to preach and teach what we, hear, see and understand concerning the kingdom of God! Here is a truth every minister of the gospel should know about the kingdom of God i.e., we can’t preach what we cannot hear, and we can’t hear what we cannot see; neither can we explain to others what we don’t understand ourselves. One must be born again to see the kingdom of God; one needs to be born of the water and of the Spirit, to enter into the kingdom; then and only then, will a believer began to partially understand the issues and the essence of God’s kingdom. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1Cor. 2:14).
2. Nicodemus approached Jesus one night, with questions concerning the miracles he (Jesus) had been performing. Jesus responded to Nicodemus by saying, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (Jn. 3:3). Jesus’ answer confused Nicodemus, even more than he was before he asked the question. Being confused, he asked Jesus another question: he wanted to know; could a man go back into his mother’s womb for a second time, after he is old and be born all over again? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God (Jn. 3:5). Jesus’ second answer probably pushed Nicodemus a little closer to the edge because Jesus and Nicodemus were communicating from two different concepts. Nicodemus was speaking from the natural, and Jesus was using the natural to illustrate the spiritual.
3. The kingdom Jesus was referring to, when Nicodemus came to him by night was not a visible entity, or a place where one goes after he/she dies; it is God’s domain in the world among men. And when he [Jesus] was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you
(Luke 17:20, 21). When Jesus said to those Pharisees . . . for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. He was not saying the kingdom of God was already in their hearts. We should note that, when Jesus spoke these words, the kingdom of God was not yet established in the heart of men. Especially, to those unbelieving Pharisees, whose aim was to discredit Jesus in every possible way. Jesus was saying that he who represents the kingdom was standing in their midst. Jesus was not saying that the kingdom was already in them because he had not yet sent the Holy Ghost. The kingdom of God did not come into the heart of man, until the Holy Ghost came on the day of Pentecost.
4. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom. 14:17). The kingdom of God does not exist by natural resources, but by a spiritual entity. The Holy Ghost is the third person of the God-head; he governs and rulers over the kingdom of God in the earth, and in this period, commonly, known as the dispensation of grace
.
5. It is impossible for anyone to consistently, receive and understand kingdom principles without being kingdom-minded, and you will not be kingdom-minded until you are born again. After the new birth you will be able to see the kingdom of God now, not just when you get to heaven! If you are only expecting to see the kingdom of God after you die: God forbid, you should die before seeing or entering into the kingdom—I hate to burst your bubbles—chances are, you won’t see or enter into the kingdom of God after death! Listen to how Jesus responded to his disciples, when they questioned him about the parables he spoke to the people. And the disciples came, and said unto him, "Why speakest thou unto them [the people] in parables? He answered and said unto them,
Because it is given unto you [the people of God] to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them [those on the outside] it is not given" (Matt. 13:10, 11). In other words, kingdom people should be able to, see, recognize and understand kingdom language now. People of the world’s system are not particularly, excited or concern about what they cannot see in the spiritual realm, which belongs to God. The new birth will reveal the kingdom of God to the believers!
