    WALKING BY FAITH

Hebrews 11:1,6 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

In reality, Faith can only work within the distance between your destination and your hope. Faith is a journey, and the power that drives your will. That is to say, Faith carries you to your hope, and after that, upgraded to faithfulness: the wisdom to stay in faith. Once hope is realized, a test of the substance is levied on you, i.e. a test on your faithfulness becomes a reality. Faithfulness is the attitude of maintaining a relationship with the one that fulfilled your Hope—God. Once our hope is realized, most believers become unfaithful the very moment their hope is fulfilled, forgetting that a man’s want is insatiable or re-occurring. IT IS NATURAL!

Remember that all unfaithfulness is a gateway for the enemy and destroyer, and if not checked and quickly closed will result in bad news; sickness, loss, pain, anger and hopelessness. Why? God is faithful (1 Corinthians 1:9) Believe it or not, ‘A Christ-less life is a life in crises’.

Matthew 14:22-33 says, And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. 24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, it is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it were thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. 33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Matthew 14 is a perfect representation of the power of deliverance through Christ Jesus, but you must be faithful and believe. Know that as a child and follower of Jesus Christ, He will show up at the time proper for your deliverance. He will not be a second late, and is there to bring light into your dark places. His voice calms your storm; His wisdom re-arranges all your shattered plans. He is a timeless God, and mighty to save. Weeping endures for a night, your joy must come in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Amen.

Walking with Jesus commands a commission on your life. Therefore, you must be mindful of the enemy. He will do anything in his power to destabilize you, making it impossible for you to achieve your commission. The bible says, Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 Peter 5:8) As Christians, we must be careful and guard ourselves by The Living Word of God, your Savior daily. We must diligently pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), worship, and praise.

The devil knows where to get you. Operating outside your savior will leave you unarmed in a war zone. Ephesians 6:10-18 says, "10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in
