    Liberate Yourself from Fear

    The Bible tells us in 2nd Timothy 3:1 that perilous times are coming. This means that we will have seasons when we are confronted with situations we do not understand and can’t explain; situations that frankly scare us, and leave us lost for words and in deep fear.

    Fear sometimes can be sudden, but many times, it creeps up on us with little suggestions here and there, that grow and become overwhelming.

    What Is FEAR?

    Fear is defined as "an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm". It can paralyze a person and make that person unable to think straight. Fear can reduce a fully grown adult to a crying baby in seconds. It can be a powerful feeling that cripples. It is an emotional response, but it is also a natural survival instinct that we use as individuals.

    The words ‘Fear Not’ appear at least 80 times in the Bible, and the word ‘fear’ itself appears at least 365 times.

    However, we have been encouraged in the Bible not to fear, but to trust God. Psalm 56:3-4a says, Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. Even in our legitimate seasons of fear, we must "Face Everything And Rise". We must rise in faith knowing that God alone
