Can a Believer in Christ Go to Hell? This book reveals the answer to that question with supporting Bible verses. It reveals the reality of how lost most believers are, because of the lack of hearing the preached and taught Word of God. It reveals how most believers live like they are unsaved, by seeking selfish pleasures and sinking deeper and deeper in their sins. It also shows just how lost most believers are, with a distant relationship with Jesus. So many think just because Jesus died for our sins, that we can do whatever we want and plead the blood. I want to lead you to the truth and encourage everyone that we can live like the Christians we claim we are. That is what God wants, isnt it? Grace doesnt give us the right to live ungodly, while claiming to be believers. The wages of sin is death, and our bodies are Gods temple, so lets live to please Him and not self. Its my duty to reveal to you the message He gave me, and I pray this book makes a huge difference in your life. This is why I was born, so that this information would be told and souls would repent and run to Jesus. So that He would change us and make our lives worthy of His sacrifice. Can a Believer in Christ Go to Hell? This was a question that came up in a bible study lesson I was teaching back in 2004. This question made history & caused me to dig out as many scriptures as possible to find the true answer in Gods’ word. Hello, my name is Terry Stafford and I’ve been preaching since 2002. I am the oldest child of four & was what some calls a mommas’ boy, until I got married. My best friend n this big ole world was my mom. That lady I could talk to about everything. She thought me everything I knew about my God, & as a kid I would try and teach my friends what my mom told me about him. Still to this day I go over to mom and dads’ on Monday nights during football season & mom and I will talk for hours. I asked the Lord for a woman like my mom to love me forever, & would you know he will answer prayer & give us our hearts desire. I have been with my true blessing given wife for almost 20 years. I met her back in 1994 and we’ve been together since. She’s a woman that believes I can do whatever I put my mind to & she backs me all the way. We don’t agree on everything but she is truly my blessing from God. I myself have four kids, three boys & a girl. I’ve always took up time with my boys. I wanted to show them what a fathers’ role was & I had a great relationship with them. I raised them in the church and made sure my kids was active. I made sure that I was available whenever they needed to talk to me especially about when it came down to our God. I loved being a family man & spending time playing games with my kids. Tuesday nights was movie nights, & Sundays after service was game day. We would play different board games and enjoy being together. On my off days or doing summer time the boys & I would play basketball for hours. Sometimes from 6pm to 2 in the morning. I loved having bible study with them and allowing them to ask questions and I answer them the best way I could & try to find scripture to stand on. I have always loved talking about The Lord, but I never wanted to preach his word. My former pastor {May his soul rest in peace} pastured us for 56 years, before God moved me to my next mission a year & a half before he died. He taught me a lot just by watching him on how to minister to people, & to give them my very best in order to show them my God in a bigger light. I want people to want a better relationship with Jesus and to be hungry for his presence in their lives. I was in and out of service for years & I was raised in the church. I’m from a Christian home with a service going family {in other words a church going family}. Finally after I entered into my mid twenties I decided I was going to stop straying off and become the Christian Jesus died for. On Sundays I was known for running from service to service trying to learn as much as I could about him. A few years later I’m preaching & now writing a book. I love telling people the information and the knowledge I have gain just by spending time with God. His word has changed my thinking, talking and action. I have become a stronger, wiser and better person. The time I’ve put in studying his word make me so glad he chose me to be his messenger. I was the younger of my two spiritual brothers in the ministry and I wanted to talk about things in God’s word that wasn’t talked about from the others. There is more to God other than his grace, mercy, love, & forgiveness. I was convinced that the phrase “Once Saved Always Saved” wasn’t true because it is not found in scripture. We hear things and quote them & believe it’s in the bible when it’s not. So I wanted to prove that you can’t live a worldly life and be a true Christian. We had so many members that didn’t come to Wednesday services or come to Sunday school. Most only came to morning worship twice a month only when the pastor preached, and God isn't pleased with that kind of religion! It's worthless!

These people loved my teaching so much that I felt I would let them down if I gave them 100 percent of me, so I had to give them 150 percent, because we grew so much together in the Lord.

These Christ seekers are the main reason I wrote this book. Because of the information I’ve provided through Scriptures, the more we seen God in ways we never heard of. It just made Bible study better than ever, and some of us thought that it was better than regular church services. We looked forward to Wednesday nights and dared not to miss.

After Bible study was over, I would love to hear Sister Samuels say, Stafford, you talk about stuff I never heard was in the Bible, or hear Sister Mayshack say, The Lord really let you teach [good] tonight, child. I liked seeing Sister Harvey come because she had heard I was teaching, and to hear Sister Hall, a young mother, tell me and the class, I was really helped as Sister Walters hugged me tight and said, Good teaching. The smile on Sister White’s face let me know God had used me again, and the teary eyes of joy in Sister Carter just made me feel I was so proud to be God’s preacher.

I also must give special thanks to Sister Washington and Brother Black because they have kept me on my toes as a man of God. To those of you I didn’t name, I love you guys so much, and you are the reason God has sent me to preach His Word. God will put people in your life for reason and season. It is because of you that He has sent me and pulled the best out of me, and for that I want to say thank you, NBBC.

A Word from Terry

I have been preaching for ten years, and I believe so many believers have no idea what it means to be Christian. God is a God of love, mercy, peace, patience, and forgiveness, among other qualities and characteristics. Even though we believers by definition believe, we still give our God the worst of us. We give Him weak praise, weak worship, and half to no services. We don’t listen, follow, or obey Him, but we always want Him to do something for us. We live unworthy lives and talk a language that is not Christ-like. Do we ever ask ourselves if God is pleased with our actions? We should be ashamed of ourselves for telling others we are saved or born again.

People praise and worship the one and only true living God, but some treat Him like a trashcan. Most pay Him attention only when they are full of troubles and need to empty themselves of them. Once they dump their burdens on Him, they no longer need Him until it’s time to unload again.

Some care more about other people’s feelings than those of the God they claim to love. They care more about what people think about them than what God has said to them. They care more about how people see them than how God views them. Would you believe they claim to be Christian? What kind of Christians are they? Not those who put God first.

It’s time for believers to understand what Christianity is all about, and I believe it’s my job to let others see Christ in a way they may have never seen Him before. I want to reach the person you see staring at you in the mirror and ask him or her, what has Jesus done for you and how do you show your appreciation, is it by your actions?

I love to teach God’s Word, and I remind people to pay attention to the Bible verses they read. Certain key words will make a verse mean one thing, but we can take them to mean something else. It will reveal God in a way that is blind to religion. Jesus died to gain a closer relationship with humanity, not to grow religion with them. Those people who shouted Crucify him! were religious. Religion brings on manmade rules that have been added to God’s Word and has caused many to miss out on the joy of following Christ.

Christ died for us, knowing none of us was or is any good. We try so hard to please people who mean us no good. We will give our last to those who won’t appreciate it, and we want to be friends with those unworthy of our friendship. We follow people who lead us astray and imitate those who care nothing about us. We are more concerned about famous criminals or who is sleeping with whom. We want to know more about rock and rap stars and TV, movie, and sports stars. We research how to make fast money or how to beat others out of what they’ve worked hard for. We spend as little time as possible seeking the face of our God, yet we claim we are saved, born again, and on our way to heaven.

I am amazed at how we as believers can be so unconcerned about God’s Word. We want God to give, give, give, but we give little or nothing back to Him. I heard that over 70 percent of believers are biblically illiterate. Can this be true? Can they really claim to be Christians? How many believers don’t care about what God has said? More than you’ll ever know.

Well, my new friend, I want to offer you a way to make you want to get closer to God and bless His name for sending His Son to save people like you and me. I want you to fall in love with Him and know Him much better than you used to or do now. I want you to be or become more than just His child or servant; I want you to become His friend. I want those who read this book to become friends of His. I want everyone to have a relationship with the Creator of everything and everybody.

My prayer is that God’s grace be with you as He draws you closer to Him, and His blessing be upon you in Jesus name Amen.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that You open your eyes and help me understand what You are saying to me. Keep my mind focused, and make this chapter come alive in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I have never
