Segun Adewole-Bank

Segun Adewole Bank gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1984. He likewise received the call of the Lord when the Lord Jesus appeared to him in a vision on November 20, 1988. The Lord Jesus told him to stand in the office of a prophet, among other things. He has been sent to raise a people that will live and reign like the Lord Jesus on earth to manifest his glory. His ministry’s emphasis is on the nature of God, eternal life, love, and righteousness. He is the set-man of the Word of Life World Outreach missions. He is a graduate of Rhema India Bible Training Centre, Nagpur, India, an affiliate school of Rhema Bible Training Centre, Tulsa, USA. He is also a member of Global Apostolic Impact Network (GAIN). He has a bachelor of science (Ed.) in physics, and a postgraduate (Dip.) in education. He has also authored other books, such as The End-Time Church Prophetic Insight, How to Achieve Excellence, Honor Cometh, The Glory of the Cross and the Blood, Grace—the Power to Go Forth, Your Ordained Fame, and The Rising Star. His ministry also publishes The Voice of His Glory magazine, The Glory-Day Prophetic Journal, among others. He is married to his princess, Kemi, and they are both raising a happy family together.

I was delighted when I received a request to write a brief foreword to this book: The Sent Brand: Pastor Tunde Bakare. The Legacy of a man sent from Above, which depicts the personality, life and ministry of Pastor Tunde Bakare. I have admired the incredible ministry and personality of Pastor Tunde Bakare and this piece of work gives a rare insight to who he really is. It presents an inside account of the simple life of this great man of God.

Reading through this book, I am absolutely amazed at Pastor Adewole-Bank’s talent and what he is able to achieve with a pen. This is more than the life history of one man – his rise from a humble beginning to becoming a World class prophet and preacher of the word of God. This is a mine of information for those who wish to learn and grow in ministry. It is also a blessing to the body of Christ because of its true presentation of the personality of Pastor Tunde Bakare who has become a lone prophetic voice in Nigeria today.

Brand And Portrait

What is a Brand?

A brand, by dictionary definition is a grade or mark as indicated by a stamp or trademark. It has also been defined as a mark made by burning or otherwise, to indicate kind, grade, maker, or ownership. A brand can also be defined as a mark made on the skin with a hot metal as a means of identification.

In many African cultures, people put tribal marks on the faces of their offspring. These marks are made with a knife or a sharp object. Then they apply a substance or liquid which has been heated, on the surface of such marks. This is believed to help heal the laceration. These tribal marks are meant to differentiate people from various families, tribes and cultures. Therefore once you sight someone from a particular tribe, even without such a person introducing himself, you already know the tribe or town he is from. This is branding.

The Technology of a Brand

Sometime ago, a uniquely shaped quaint leaf caught my attention. I was immediately reminded of the reality of God’s Word. The technology of the Word of God made the leaf and branded it differently such that no other leaf, wet or dry, could ever be like that particular brand of leaf even among its class.

Technology is a branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society and the environment.
