    SHE’S LIVING MY LIFE

Intimate Guide to Dominate Your Human Experience–Personally, Professionally, Socially, & Spiritually

    Taylor Pittman

I may not remember what happened before I arrived, and I may not live again to tell what lies beyond this breath, but at this moment, here and now, I will live while I am alive. I will live my life.

    —TAYLOR PITTMAN

To my daughter, Kaylen Paige, thank you for being my childhood best friend I never had, in my adult years. I love you.

To my husband Kelvin, thank you for loving me (no matter what)–to the moon and back my baby! I love you.

To my son’s Nick and Allen, you were and always will be my reason to survive. Thank you for trusting your teen mom. Jaylen, thank you for never treating me like a stepmother, stay humbled! I love you.

To my momma Paula Rene, thank you for being my best girlfriend, wearing so many hats and giving the right responses at my most vulnerable times. Also, for being my biggest fan, cheering so loudly that nothing negative ever really mattered. I love you and Papa Gene.

To my granny, Eloise, thank you and I know that all is well. And Papa, you two are beyond missed – I love you.

My sisters, Danielle, Chardae, Charmaine – you batches know I go to war behind you, my nieces and nephews too. Kisses! I love you.

For every girl (and boy) who was ever told they were not good enough to live a lifestyle beyond what their current eyes could see. I say fux’m gurl, fux’em - secure the bag, steal the information, perform beyond everyone’s expectations and realize you’re so deserving, as your dream lifestyle has been waiting for you to arrive, all this time! You are loved.

    Like For Real

She’s Living My Life and I’m Not!

I’m happy she made it, but I’m more confused why I haven’t succeeded, and I can’t let go of the thought… Why her?! Why not me?? Why not we?!

    I

’M SOMEWHAT HAPPY TO SEE THAT SOMEONE is living their life to the fullest!  A lifestyle I’ve often dreamed of embracing and producing as my own. In the eyes of hypocrites, it would be wrong for me to be jealous, so it’s safe to say, I guess I’m happy for her bliss. They have trained me to be happy for others, even in my self-pity and misery. Be proud of her, she is among those that made it out, blah, blah, blah. She’s the epitome of a role model, I should admire and yearn to follow in her footsteps, one would say.

She seems so perfect and full of light, great energy, and equipped with a backbone so strong, one would wonder if she’s superhuman. She’s wearing my favorite dresses, driving my dream car, wearing jewels that sparkle even a blind man’s eyes, a lover to my mister dreamy, she lives on a piece of land with endless access to milk and honey, her status quo sets the bar to be unshaken, and she attracts the attention of adventures (people, places, and things) near and far. Her presence commands respect and levies the assumptions of those that once doubted her.  She lives out loud and is never apologetic for giving herself the lifestyle she believes she’s entitled. Truth is, this bitch is living my life, your life, our life - with or without us. Caught up in my emotions! Jealousy seems to take over. In this moment of pettiness, I seriously wonder how I can get my hands on the life she’s living. Hmm, maybe we steal her life and borrow it for a while. Maybe, I trash her reputation and refocus the light in my direction, or maybe she’ll just die, already?! Okay, ok, all right–maybe that was a tad bit much! Lol! But we’ve all pondered a jealous rant or two when things seem to not benefit us.

As I envy her existence, I realize she’s living the life they declared we couldn’t live! Maybe, that’s why it’s hard for me to be enthusiastic for her. I’m complex because someone told us those dreams, we fantasized about as a child, were too far out of reach and it would be too much work to accomplish on our own. They told us that our kind is known for not working well together. Now, brainwashed into believing such statements, it would feel like a waste of time to want anything more, than what’s been designated for us to have by the illusion of others. They continue to say, That in which you shall have, is what we say you will get, which is just enough, but never more than us.  Stay with me, I’m trying to tell you a
