About this ebook

EXPECT NOTHING TO GET EVERYTHING
"Have a sharp mind to cut where many said it’s not our class.”

Help is a clear mindset with a positive attitude regarding what help one’s self might believe in. This book is not there to give you answers but to help you find your heart, mind and your way in changing the way you think of yourself and to know that everything is possible.

Therefore, help has dawned and it does not need anything but to assimilate what you will learn from it.

Monnaojang Senye is a young man who dwells in self-motivation, likes inspiring others to keep on trying and reading inspiring books. He grew up in an ordinary village with an ordinary family. He did not have much but never limited himself based on things he could not change. He has made himself who he is today due to belief in himself and God, just as you too can.

    Introduction

I have written this book to share my knowledge and experience with people of all races and ages. It is intended to provide a simple self-help manual for those who are determined to better themselves and raise the level of their expectations despite lack of confidence and low self-esteem. People in this category often feel they are being criticised and excluded from social interaction. They frequently chatter about unimportant issues in an effort to keep talking and give the impression that they are feeling comfortable and accepted. These often unhappy people are frequently branded as being losers. On the other hand, smart people don’t talk much, but believe in action. They focus on being doers. Believe me, action is the knife you use to cut fear and low self-esteem. It requires courage and self-motivation. How many have failed and fallen in front of you? Today they stand tall and say, I did it!

In order to achieve success, we need to be aroused from our sense of self-satisfaction and contentment and given a new goal and fresh challenges to spur us on to greater efforts. The contents of this book will teach you how to do what is required. Help is provided - an important aspect in an individual’s life, which cannot be inherited due to a person’s thinking ability. The focal point of this book is not all about moving from one point to the other, but how to move from one point to another.

In most cases people lack action on account of fear, low self-esteem and restrictions such as financial problems or poor coping skills. You may have an ambitious plan where confidence and a positive mindset are essential. Initially you may be enthusiastic and energetic without any negative thoughts, but after a while, you may attract limiting factors which impose further restrictions on your actions, such as shyness, low self-esteem, negative thoughts and embarrassment.

So go out there and do what you have to do to make your dreams come true. I believe that if you take action, you will rise up and succeed without any form of restriction. Never underestimate the power of your own brain, because those who believed in themselves are well away by now.

    Chapter One

    What is Help?

I am not who I was yesterday, and I will not be tomorrow who I am today.

Help proceeds from the thought pattern of an individual when he or she ponders over certain difficult situations. Help starts in the mind of the individual, which is then implemented by the right type of action. Don’t expect help to fall onto your lap like a birthday gift. I quote a well-known proverb: mokoduo go tsoswa yo o itsosang (help is an abstraction). Speaking to oneself is the first step towards seeking help. People tend to think that their situations are difficult and permanent and become discouraged as a result.

Always remember that the mind is the greatest tool which mankind has at its disposal! It can create or destroy and therefore, solve. It can generate countless ideas, as expressed in this proverb: motho ga itsiwe e se naga, but if you continually tell your mind that it is restricted from doing certain things, it will remain restrictive. In order to help yourself, you must have a positive attitude towards all the boundaries that life throws at you. Remember, you must first crawl in order to walk, and you must trust and believe that your feet are able to hold your body weight, in order to jump.

How can I help myself? It’s easy! You must sit down to analyse the situation and decide on goals that you would like to reach each and every day. It could be a motivational quote or encouragement from an ordinary person or a successful person that you look up to, which spurs you on. See yourself in the right perspective and be aware of your strengths and weaknesses. When you want help from within, never ask yourself questions that will discourage you and delay reaching your dream. Avoid questions such as, What will happen? and What if? We often tend to regard opinions as being positive facts. Never wait for someone to help you, but help yourself by stretching your mind to think out of the box and consider the rewards. Don’t be like a fish that swims around in circles with no fixed aim in mind.

Never pay any attention to the qualities of your brain, just use it. Self-help is closely associated with taking risks. Always bear in mind that risks don’t go hand-in-hand with negative mindsets or reluctant people. It is essential to remember, If you snooze, you lose, otherwise you can lose out on opportunities in various situations. Each and every time you tell yourself, I will, know that the mind has already done it. All that remains is for you to take action. So what’s delaying you? I used to say, A willing mind leads to positive action, so never let your mind be ahead of you. The Bible says, Let no man have a false idea. If any man seems to himself to be wise among you, let him become foolish so that he may be wise. Each of us has our own mental endurance and it can enable us to do whatever we want, no matter what other person feels. Do as you wish without worrying about the comments of others. Everything you do has consequences of some kind. Just say, Thank You God, no matter how good or bad life is. Where should I look for help? Don’t look anywhere! The moment you start asking this type of question you will be in trouble, because you will not find what you are looking for. Constant questioning can lead to your downfall.

So just let your mind search for answers and then take action. Certain thoughts, ideas or dreams will seem impossible, but as time goes on, will show whether you are a determined person or not. We all went to school in order to gain knowledge and ultimately, achieve success. The Bible tells us that work based on endurance will be successful, whereas those who fail to endure will suffer loss. It is my intention to prevent people from becoming victims of their own dreams. It is tragic to see a person who grew up with you and attended the same school, begging for money at a robot. Although he may have had wonderful dreams as a child, he did not put in enough effort and now suffers the consequences of his inaction. Our school career provides us with limited text book knowledge but fails to provide a way of dealing with problems. Make sure that you achieve success
