Who would have known that what started out as a love for reciting poetry in the principal's office at primary school would have led to such a time as this.

God always has a word to comfort, to encourage, to guide, and also to remind us of His love towards us and His presence in our lives.

Inspired came out of the knowledge that as we go through situations in life, whether they are pleasant or unpleasant, God is right there with us, inspiring us to live. Poetry was God's way of drawing me much closer to Him, and as God inspired me, I wrote, giving back to God, what He had first given to me. So, you too, be inspired! Let us think daily on God's goodness and live!

God’s Goodness

When at times you feel like complaining

And you’re feeling kinda blue

Just take a look back at your life

And see what God has done for you.

For when you look around you

And see the things you’ve got

Remember, God in all His goodness

Remembered you when you thought not.

He puts food on your table

He gives you a place to sleep

He places a roof above you

And He puts shoes on your feet.

So do not feel discouraged

When things don’t go your way

The Lord, He knows the reason

Just continue, to Him, to pray.

I Wonder

I wonder if

I wonder why

And then I wonder what I did

To make my wonder die.

’Tis funny, it seems, to think so much

Of this and that and such and such

And on and on it goes, it seems

Back to wonder, back to dreams.

You’re right; it’s something in my head

Hitting me with fear

Consuming me with dread

But then I realized ’twas useless all along

To be so scared to death

Of things I thought were gone wrong.

So in the end I have concluded

Things we worry about aren’t really needed

So I’ll wonder a little bit if I may

But I’ll let God get the better parts of my day.

What Is Life?

What is Life?

That I should boast?

A mere breath in my bones

Do good while I can

I have Life, but for how long?

What is Life?

I’ll surely ask.

Is it the clothes I wear?

Or the food I eat?

Or saying hello to the people I pass?

No one knows, but only God

He gives Life to one and all

And what I do, I play with it

And think forever I will live?

I hope to find out one sweet day

Before it really is too
