Memories sweet memories

Can we rekindle the candle

of the love that we once had

It’s too bad

that we had to go our separate ways

Every day I wonder what we could have been

Everything was cool back then

Good times

A couple of laughs

Do you remember when I used to call you on the phone

And tell you that you was my better half

Right now

I’m going through some records

As I listen to make it last

I thought about our past

And how we had crossed paths

The look in your eyes

From the moment we first met was unforgettable

Never could I forget that smile of yours

The sight of new love

So immature

When I think back

You were everything I was looking for

And so much more

As I now ponder

Over the thought of us being no more

The pain is too much too endure

Thoughts of you

I can never ignore

For happiness is what I had experienced before
