Dear Melvia… .
Grandma…
I love you so much,
Sorry I couldn’t arrive sooner to share your company.
I heard that you were a good school teacher.
Always taking great interest in your students to succeed…
Also a great mother… You raised a fine, sweet, caring daughter that I am proud to call my mother.
This book is dedicated to the memory of my Grandmother, Melvia Mercurius.
Chapter One
The Smooth
Side…
If I Was Your Angel
So beautiful, such a thrill to see even crazy as they say you might be.
A smile so bright to match your friendly spirit
Living a life of luxury and fame didn’t mean much to you
When it came down to the less fortunate
Always caring for God’s Children, changing their unbearable cries with laughter
Empty bellies now nourished with food, a thirsty mouth given fresh, cold water to drink
There was nothing your eyes have seen that your heart didn’t try to mend
I’m sorry about your tragic car accident that took you away.
If I was your angel I would’ve saved you to live to see many more days ahead.
Dedicated to Lisa (Left
