About this ebook

So There you have it what the battle is over, Satan if allowed control will intentionally and unrelentingly bring about your death but by you own hands, (suicide), as he did Adam in the beginning. The bible says Satan was a murderer in the beginning. However, Adam was accountable for his own death and for his involvement of manslaughter (causing a person death without intent) for the entire human race, Romans 5:12 because he chose to disobey God. We are held accountable for our decisions the choices of death and life are before us every day. Even now as Satan skillfully orchestrates the fall and (death) of mankind as he did in the beginning, God has already provided a remedy in the second Adam (Jesus Christ) and again the decision is ours Lets choose Life this time. ( 1Corinthians 15:22)

    Introduction

Oftentimes, we point the finger at others when trying to give a reason for our failures and make excuses for our disobedience to God. However, God will never tell us to do something beyond our ability. The truth of it is, we are our own hindrances. In John 10:28, the Bible says no one can pluck us out of God’s hand. The scripture reads, And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish; neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Nevertheless, we can make a choice to walk out of his hand and away from his plan for our lives. We can decide to walk away from saving grace. The choice to obey or disobey the law of God is ours alone. But the consequences of rejecting God’s mandate for our lives seem to affect everything around us.

We can see these consequences through Adam. In the beginning, the law was given to him, but it affected Eve. The choice to uphold God’s commandment was Adam’s alone. Nothing happened to Eve when she ate of the forbidden fruit. It appeared that God’s original covenant was still intact. But when Eve gave the forbidden fruit to Adam and he ate, well, both of their eyes were opened, and sin entered the world. Romans clearly states this in 5:12: Wherefore as by one man sin entered the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

What would the outcome have been if Eve had been the only one deceived, and Adam had not transgressed the law of God? I’m sure the wisdom and equity of God would have decided the difficulty. But this was not the case. The scripture does not mention Eve’s part in Adam’s transgression as a valid excuse for him to disobey God. On the contrary. Romans 5:19 says, For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Adam blamed God, saying, The woman you gave me presented me the fruit, and I ate it. Nonetheless, God have given Adam clear law and instruction to follow in Genesis 2:17: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shall surely die. Adam alone chose to
