    A PRAYER OF ENTREATY

    A Cry From The Heart

Father anoint me with your Holy Spirit, so that as I read thoughtfully (Dangerous Crossing– Look, Listen, and Live’ book) your Eternal Word may pierce my whole life and change me. Grant me the eternal blessing to be a believer in trusting the Word of God. And that I may be a visible light shining upon all who are in darkness. Amen.

    Introduction

The godless world (of course, God is living in our world) is often a dangerous place, and mindless people must not assume that enticement to sin comes from God; it under no circumstances does.

Take, for a glorious example, the pure statement in James 1 (verse 13 of the New Testament Holy Bible) below we read of the King James Interpretation:

"Let no man say when he is

tempted, I am tempted of God: for

God cannot be tempted with evil,

    neither tempteth he any man."

It is a fearful thing to say I am tempted by the living Lord. The underlying point is you should not say, God is tempting me.

What this means, for example, the angelic will of God fully resists any desired direction toward immoral sin. However, in our harsh society sin is barely mentioned (let alone called what it is) as we carry out our daily activities, except for various criminal offenses. And many of these would not dare to mention such a negative concept as sin.

In fact, instead of resolutely facing sin, enslaved people would rather excuse it, merely deny it, or foolishly try to understand it. However, if we are going to obediently, please Godwe must know what sin is and how it has corruptly influenced our dear lives. To naturally know this is to recognize why we need to be (miraculously) saved.

In the first lovely place, we instantly start with a practical illustration of what sin realistically is. Graciously granted to the New Testament Holy Bible, in James 1 (verse 15) below I explain the King James Interpretation:

    "Then when lust hath conceived

(this speaks of evil lust), it bringeth

forth sin (as stated above, these

    irresistible temptations do not

come from God, but from the

    appetites of our sinful nature,

which is a result of Adam and

Eve’s fall): and sin, when it is

    finished, bringeth forth death."

What this means, in general, is that our irresistible desires typically make us sin. And when sin is finished lamely with us, it foolishly leaves us spiritually dead (because immoral sin forcibly separates us from God). The terrible idea over here is (sin) has merely reached its emotional maturity and has unlawfully possessed the very character of the willing individual.

By foolishly brave and by graciously conforming to the gospel record of the official Bible, sin is a common experience of the dear saints. As a striking illustration, Paul thoughtfully informs us by the masterful will of God, and we naturally have the dear Lord’s fulfilled promise.

Take the example of the New Testament Holy Bible, First Corinthians 10 (verse 13) below we understand by the King James Reading:

    "There hath no temptation taken

you, but such as is common

to man: but God is faithful,

who will not suffer you to be

    tempted above that ye are able;

    but will with the temptation

also make a way to escape, that

ye may be able to bear it."

In divine essence, the Saints throughout the modern age have naturally had to resist temptation. And God is so good that he will not let you experience anything for which he has not prepared you for.

You typically see God will instantly give you the sufficient grace and divine power to go through, not to mention patient endurance will humbly offer its own reward. Like for example, graciously granted to the Holy Bible, in First Corinthians 9 (verses 24–27) below we read the full text of the King James Interpretation:

"Know ye not that they which

run in a race run all, but one

receiveth the prize? So run, that

ye may obtain. And every man

that striveth for the mastery is

    temperate in all things. Now

they do it to obtain a corruptible

    crown; but we an incorruptible.

I therefore so run, not as

uncertainly; so, fight I, not as one

that beateth the air: But I keep

under my body, and bring it into

subjection: lest that by any means,

when I have preached to others,

I myself should be a castaway."

Paul by the Will of God makes use of the Greek games to strikingly illustrate the spiritual race of the born-again man in these remarkable passages. Enthusiastic sportsmen intentionally ran to dearly receive a corruptible crown, but we of the Christian faith an incorruptible crown. No young man could contend in the Olympic games unless he precious was a Greek citizen, naturally born of Greek parents. Therefore, no unsaved person can typically participate in the humble services of the dear Lord for eternal rewards; only the born of God are eligible.

Take for example, graciously granted to the New Testament Holy Bible, in John 3 (verse 3) below we read of the King James Interpretation

    "Jesus answered and said unto

him, verily, verily, I say unto thee,

except a man be born again, he

cannot see the kingdom of God."

Just as the athlete must deny himself many gratifications of the body. So, the born-again person must keep under his body and bring it unto subjection, or he will become a castaway. He will lose the incorruptible crown. He must work out his own salvation with fear and trembling (see Philippians 2:12). This refers to going on to maturity to the conclusion of total Christ-likeness. Discovering what it really means to be saved.
