Introduction
Battles: None of us really like to hear or think about them, but, at some point, we must face them. Battles do not mean that we as Christians should cower in fear, though, because God has given us everything we need in His word. For the Bible says:
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: (2 Peter 1:3, KJV)
He has given all things that pertain to life and Godliness according to this Scripture. Because of this, I believe He has given us the battle plans to walk in victory and not throw in the towel when the enemy attacks. Often I find today's believers are unaware of the many treasures and strategies God has already placed in His word for us to dig out through prayerful study of the Scriptures.
In the following pages, I want to share with you some great truths from Revelation 16:15 and Luke 10:30. I learned these while preaching a revival meeting in Virginia, at a little country church called Pine Grove. I had used this passage many times over the twenty-some years I had been preaching, but I had never before seen what the Lord showed me that night. I believe, if you will bear with me for a little while as we look into the Bible, you too will see how important it is to study the Word of God, especially when you're in the midst of a battle.
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of
