    Conclusion

    Introduction

    I pray God will use me as a vessel to pour out to the readers of this book that which will enlighten, enrich and encourage. I pray I will serve as a vessel of honor. Romans 9:21 states: Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

    I pray this book will answer some of your questions. More important than the answers it will give is the fact that it strives to cause the reader to ask questions. It is never good to question God. But it is good to ask questions to get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 states: Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

    After reading this book, I pray you will search for answers. I am a child of God. There are so many things I do not understand. Please God, give me the right words. God will put no more on us than we can bear. 1 Corinthians 10: 13 states God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it.

    God’s desire is that none of mankind would be lost. 2 Peter 2:9 states: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

    Satan has a different agenda. He desires that mankind would be destroyed. Luke 22:31 states: And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

    I pray to You, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that You will use me to put words here to help those who read, draw closer and/or find their way to You.

    God, now as I struggle to keep me out of this process, I ask You to poor out your grace and mercy upon me. Make me mindful that it is not I who bring any good to the world. But it is You through me that bring anything good from me. This is true of this book. I pray it will be Your inspired Word. Help me heavenly Father in Jesus’ name.

    What are your questions? You may have looked to yourself, preachers, relatives, friends and many others for answers to questions that have baffled you for much of your life. I pray your answers are here. I pray the answers you find will motivate you to seek more. I pray you will, as stated in 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

    I am reminded of the story of the little boy walking along the beach after a terrible hurricane. There were thousands of starfishes washed up on the shore. This little boy was diligently throwing the starfishes back in the ocean. An old man noticed what he was doing and walked over to the lad. The old man explained, you can’t save all these starfishes. The young boy bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it in the ocean. He turned briefly to the old man and said; I saved that one and continued throwing starfishes in the ocean.

    It is the intent of our hearts matched with our belief and actions that make the difference. Matthew 25:40 states: And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. If our beliefs are strong enough we can do miraculous things. Remember, belief is neutral until put into action. James 2:17 states: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

    With enough belief you can do either good or evil. I pray you will do good.

    History has taught us that if you have either an evil or good intent, for the most part, with strong enough belief/faith you can accomplish your goal. The power of faith should not be minimized. For every person who had what society would call a powerful positive impact on the world, there is a person that has had a powerful negative impact on the world.

    Please God keep me on course. What you believe will be what you are or what you become. Keep an open mind as you read. The information in this book will compliment other books and life experiences that will give you the peace of mind for which the world is looking.

    We are all on a journey called life. As we travel from the cradle to the grave, we are preparing for our final destination. Allow this book to be one of the signs to guide you to a desired destination.

    Some people ask; if there is an Almighty God, why is there so much evil in the world? We are given free will. When Adam and Eve were kicked from the garden it was because of disobedience. After their sin of disobedience they were allowed to die. Although it took over 900 years for them to die, they had to die because they sinned. Romans 6:23 states: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Numbers 23:19 states: God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

    Yes, God created Lucifer. However, he did not create the evil that changed Lucifer to Satan.

    Darkness cannot exist in light. 1 John 1:5 states: This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. Satan did not make Adam and Eve sin. He provided the temptation that led to their sin. There were alternatives to succumbing to Satan’s deception. "THEY ARE LIKE US." Today, for every temptation or deception that is put before us, there is a way to avoid it.

    Satan has only the power over us that God allows. Philippians 4:13 states: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

    There are consequences for every action that is taken. We are now battling our flesh, Satan and the world. There is a lot of evil in the world. You cannot beat evil with evil Proverb 15:1 states: A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

    If we will examine our lives, we will agree that most, if not all our problems, have come directly or indirectly from the actions we have taken after making a particular decision. People have taken advantage of us. But, like Adam and Eve, we had a way to avoid it. This point can be best illustrated through examples of scams. To be scammed is to be victimized: deprived of by deceit. As you read about the different scams, find a way to avoid them. I am reminded of a saying: A wise man learns from a fool’s mistakes. But, a fool doesn’t learn from his own mistakes. Remember, the greatest scam a person can fall victim is the one they pull on themselves.

    Satan pulled the first scam. Scams have been happening ever since. Jacob pulled one to steal a birthright his father Isaac meant for Esau. Abraham pulled one to keep from getting killed on the count of his wife’s beauty. Delilah pulled one to help destroy Samson. David pulled one to have another man’s wife. Scams were happening then and they are happening today.

    We know of the scams of bible times. We know of recent scams that have caused people to lose millions and millions of dollars. I would like to share a few scams.

    As long as people exist as they do and Satan is ruling the darkness, there will be scams. 2 Corinthians 4:4 states: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. John 12:31 states: Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

    I have a friend that is an atheist. We have been close friends since we went through ROTC Advance Camp at Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1979. I will not use this book to debate the existence or nonexistence of an Almighty God. All you will read in this book will be grounded on the premise and for me, the fact that there is an Almighty God. By extension, Jesus Christ is the Son of this Almighty God and is my Lord and Savior. John 3:16 states: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    John 1:12 states: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

    Colossians 1:13 states: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

    2 Timothy 2:16 states: And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

    1 John 5: 9-13 states:

      If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

    ¹⁰  He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

    ¹¹  And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

    ¹²  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

    ¹³  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

    1 John 5:19 states: And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

    Romans 6:16 states: Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

    John 8:44 states: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

    I hold as a truth that Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of Almighty God, is our only way to salvation. John 4:16 states: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

    We have been given instructions how to withstand Satan and his servants. Ephesians 6: 11-18 states:

    ¹¹  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

    ¹² For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

    ¹³  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

    ¹⁴  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

    ¹⁵  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

    ¹⁶  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

    ¹⁷  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

    ¹⁸  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

    We must be on guard for the father of all lies. His subtle ways will deceive us. Things that God has purposed for our good, Satan has made a counterfeit. His whole existence is a sham and a scam. A scam is a lie dressed in fine garments of deception.

    Most scams have a bit of truth sprinkled in them. Galatians 5:9 states: A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. To see if a so called opportunity is a scam, see if by design it hurts anyone in anyway. Usually one can follow the money to get the right answer. If the opportunity, by design, causes someone to lose their money, it is a scam. There are other measures to determine if something is a scam. However, following the money will usually lead to the correct answer. Every reasonable person will agree that a scam is evil. 1 Timothy 6:10 states: For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

    Having money is not a sin. However, making money your god is a sin. Exodus 20:3 states: Thou shalt have no other gods before me. To love anything or anyone is to apply God to the recipient of the love. 1 John 4:8 states: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

    Loving God is illustrated through our praise of God. So, we should not apply God. which is love, to anything that cannot praise God. Psalm 150:6 states: Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

    Before death, humans praise God by choice. All other living things praise God because they have to do so instinctively. After death, whether they
