Closed Confessions
All this time, all this pain
My words have been unsaid
I feel like I’m going insane
I hope my gift isn’t dead
Compiled at last
To reveal the truth
But it has all gone by so fast
This writing process, in this coffee shop booth
These are my confessions
The truth behind the closed door
After all my turmoil and endless sessions
I have expressed these words from my core
Armada
There’s a hazard on every corner
That the neglectful government brought on
Send neophyte warriors to their deaths
For an erroneous inquisition
Civilians ravaged and incarcerated
An ineffective approach to rehabilitate
On foreign soil
The monotony of this war
Each alliance that became irrelevant
Diplomacy that repelled everyone
Hindered the decisiveness of congress
Debatable to say the least
The blatant confederacy has seceded
Clamorous for a valedictory speech
Something I know all to well
Lack of prudential judgment
Somehow has managed to devolve
The atrocity of it all
We’ve become a bellicose society
Send out pleas for an armistice
The people are ignored
Butchered our rights
Threw them to the ground
Stepped on by the Commander
Manifesto of an Alien
I’ve analyzed them
As an anthromorphous female
Salvaged the rest of this human life
To understand them while acting so stagy
And transcribe my experiences to fabricate some sort of intelligence
Usage of arbitrary and carnivorous actions
Variables of life to keep up their own morale
It’s hard to forecast their accomplishments
In their non-existent world
Keep a ferocious external look to survive
Charlatans flaunt their authority
Covering civilians in an avalanche of lies
Verbose and monotonous—their xenophobic missiles
Perjury, but they are not punished
It accumulates in my people
A monstrosity of erratic fears
Ruling in a mobocracy
Preaching obnoxious bullshit
Unbridled and yet invincible, above everyone, the law
Free to spew hate and infuriate others
I think I’ll classify them as assholes
There are many in this world I’ve been assigned to
We all knew it, but here’s the verification
Antic disparity
The perception of a foreigner
An aerial view of the world
Quarrelsome and negligent to their brothers
It seems so partisan and divided
When they could collaborate
But they shoot themselves in the foot
They jeopardize the well-being of humans
Its maniacal how self-absorbed they are
Ponderous to see how they are so phenomenally stupid
Yet they accelerate these acts
The worst fate imaginable
The outside looks serene
Green foliage and blue waters
But it’s all crumbling
Man is the worst threat to this world
The grisly reality
Crossing
The glacial sin, kneaded by the light
Long exhales and shallow inhales
Existing only corporeal
Awaiting the obsequies and the concord of death
There’s only loneliness in limbo
In the world of the living—an nonentity
Not yet in the world of the dead
Peerless and discorded on the border
No longer bodily
Lying in my hospital bed, impotent and indignant
The grim reaper is impartial, but this time
I want him to be altruistic towards me
Not merciless, leaving me morose
At least demise will be conclusive
And this longevity will be over
My whereabouts final in an instant
Instead of staying on a portal intangible
And on earth inambulate
Only there for juridical reasons
Negligence of the obsolescence of
