He learnt from his mother that it is better to be kind than to be famous. That he should always learn to be kind to people no matter what is at stake. Obinna entered a sport competition where he was suppose to win but he rather chose to be kind to a fellow competitor.

    Obinna Sat Down Watching Some Of His Class Mates Play Football On The School Field.

    The time was 11:25am on a bright sunny day and the students were already out on break. The boys were involved in one sporting activity or the other. Some were busy with volleyball; others with basketball as Obinna sat down under a mango tree watching some boys play football on the school pitch. He was holding a book in his left hand but his attention was in the football game. The weather was clear and dry during mid day, conducive for sport so Obinna’s friends took advantage of it to try out their soccer skills. One of the boys played the ball towards Obinna by mistake; Obinna, please play back the ball to us. Chike the boy who had played the ball towards him, pleaded. Obinna quietly stood up from where he was sitting, picked up the ball with his right hand and threw it back at them without saying a word. When will you ever play football with us? Kunle, one of the boys on the field asked, laughing. Obinna looked at him and answered; never. Why? Musa asked with his arms folded across his chest.
