    INTRODUCTION

Maybe you have been leasing for years? Maybe you have decided to move out of a rented property and purchase your own home? Maybe you are a regular mover, traveling from suburb to suburb, town to town or country to country? Maybe the lease has expired on the current tenancy and you are not renewing? Whatever your situation, when it comes time to move out of a leased property there are certain formats that have to be adhered to.

These formats are the same all across the world. As you are only a tenant you are expected to leave the property in a similar condition to what it was when you moved in. If you have tried to keep the property up to standard the move out should not be difficult, but if over time you have added to the furniture and knick knacks it could take a great deal of time to get everything packed and ready.

People who move regularly usually have the system down pat and know precisely what to do each time; but if you have been living in the same property for several years the move at the end of a lease is as hard, if not harder, than someone who has sold their property and purchased elsewhere.

Whether you rent an apartment or a house, the property has to look pristine when you leave. If you paid a Bond when taking on the lease you will want to get that money back. To do this the property has to pass an inspection by the owner or their deputy, usually a property manager. To make the job easier this book will explain what is expected at that final inspection and how to get it done with the least amount of hassle.

I cannot guarantee if you faithfully follow this routine the owner or property manager will accept the work you have
