About this ebook
The information contained is not taught in any school and cannot be found anywhere else. If properly marketed, this would be a must have for any homeowner, regardless of what the size or the project may be. This will do for residential and small commercial construction, what Bill Gates did for computers.
The bottom line is this will be the standard to go by once it is marketed and people know about it. Because of unique potential this has on a world wide basis, it is truly a rare find, and most needed by the masses.

Contractors Exposed - Martin S. Simmons
Review
I am very excited about the proposal of Contractors Exposed. Many people in this day and age, myself included, are contemplating home remodeling projects. In doing so one needs to know how to choose a good contractor that would do the best job for the investment. Many people attempt this type of thing as a novice and often times don’t know all the questions to consider in order to successfully complete the assignment; thus ending up with an unsatisfactory job.
The first thing one needs to know after contemplating the desired work to be done is how to set up and receive a satisfactory bid. This is where the work assignments need to be completely outlined in detail. I for one do not know all the questions to outline so that the contractor and the customer are clear in order to complete the work project.
The questions to be asked about insurance and liability need to be completed so that problems don’t arise as outlined in the author’s proposal. To complete the answers to the questions outlined in the list of chapters given in the proposal would greatly assist a novice such as myself in setting up a remodeling project so that it has the best chances of completing the project with a win-win situation for both the contractor and the customer.
I have known the author for several years and have found him to be a completely honest and forthright person. His work skills are excellent and his depth of knowledge comes from many years of personal experience. His personal interest in people as individuals make him an excellent person to write such a book to assist the customer in completing home remodeling projects in a satisfactory manner.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I want to thank those people whose words of encouragement and support helped me to finish this book. Thanks go first and foremost to my greatest inspiration and the purpose for my life, my dearest wife, Maria Emilia Simmons. Without her help, faith, and love, I would never accomplish this work.
To my children, whose faith in my ability keep me going.
To Jim Dennis for believing in me and being one of the best friends I have.
To Kelly Baxter, who has been a kind, honest, and true friend.
I could not have accomplished any of the things or dreams I have had without the support and love of all those who have been there for me. Thank you.
PREFACE
Higher Standard of Construction
I am delighted at the opportunity to share with you truths that I have found in the practices of construction over the years. I have found a need for this vital information from all walks of life. If you are just starting out or retired, you will need this. Whether your income is a million dollars a year or twenty thousand, the information I will impart will be extremely useful and valuable.
It is important to note that doing any remodeling or construction project is an emotional situation; it is something that requires both logical and emotional sense. When it comes to money, people tend to forget their emotions and deal only from a cut-and-dried logical point of view. Such an outlook will not only bring disappointment and failure to any remodeling or construction project but, in the long run, will cost you more and please you less.
Contractors Exposed illuminates and brings to light the dirty little secrets that some contractors use. Unfortunately, little or nothing has been done to overcome the dilemma. However, the problem can be solved in educating and understanding all aspects of a remodeling or new construction project. If a homeowner had the knowledge or the tools that are in
