About this ebook

For millennia, chakras have been part of the teaching of great yogis. The philosophy of chakras originates from ancient yoga texts, especially the Tantric texts, and the term "chakra", which derives from Sanskrit, means "wheel" or "disc".  Chakras are our portals between the physical and spiritual plane, and our aura is a "vibrational shell", that is an electromagnetic field of energy that surrounds everything and its purpose is to regulate the exchange of energy among us, our thin bodies, and the cosmos.
If the ancient teachings on chakras are true (and they are), they will undoubtedly become more and more known in our society, as humanity possibly continues to evolve.
"Chakras" will become part of our everyday language, just as the word "energy" has become commonplace in recent decades. Sooner or later, society will apply the chakra wisdom to health, relationships, the environment, psychology and spirituality. It is a natural development, since  chakras are like the hub of a wheel of rays of energy that expand
towards all aspects of our life.
This book will be your complete and user-frindly guide to learning all there is to know about chakras, discovering the complete  spiritual and material aspects linked to each of the 7 chakras, and learn step-by-step processes for chakra healing.
Learn how to explore and balance your own chakras using meditations and simple mantras—along with gaining spiritual wisdom, you'll experience better health, more energy, mindfulness, enhanced creativity, and the ability to manifest your dreams.

    Chakras - Cameron Walker

    Introduction

The philosophy of chakras originates from ancient yoga texts, especially the Tantric texts, and the term chakra, which derives from Sanskrit, means "wheel or disc".

Chakras are vortices of energy within our aura, along our spine, in the form of rainbow colors. They are visible by eyes that have been "psychically awakened" or by someone who has learned to perceive energy in other ways.

Our aura is a vibrational shell, that is an electromagnetic field of energy that surrounds everything and its purpose is to regulate the exchange of energy among us, our thin bodies, and the cosmos.

    History: chakras in ancient India

For millennia, chakras have been part of teaching of great yogis (the term yogi is used broadly to refer to practitioners of meditation in a number of Indian religions).

How have these sacred topics been passed on from one century to the other? Yogis usually did not do it through books, but by transmitting experience and knowledge in a direct and personal way, through a guru.

Since books were not considered a suitable tool for transmitting that precious knowledge, advanced yogis who wrote on chakras left only very limited information, and sometimes these teachings were even hidden behind symbolism.

For example, in the Bhagavad Gita, the Hindu Bible (written around 700 BC), chakras are only presented in a symbolic form. Even the father of yoga, Patanjali (who lived presumably around 200 A.C.), was extremely parsimonious in teaching chakras. As we'll see, In his Yoga Sutra he nominates only one.

Much before, around 1000 BC (Three thousand years ago!), Yoga Kundalini Upanishad He already mentions the chakras, but he also shares only scarce information.

    Chakras in modern society

If the ancient teachings on chakras are true (and they are), they will undoubtedly become more and more known in our society, as humanity possibly continues to evolve.

"Chakras will become part of our everyday language, just as the word energy" has become commonplace in recent decades. Sooner or later, society will apply the chakra wisdom to health, relationships, the environment, psychology and spirituality. It is a natural development, since  chakras are like the hub of a wheel of rays of energy that expand towards all aspects of our life.

    Love as your Guide

As you proceed, chapter after chapter, week after week, try to fall in love with your chakras: with their beauty, with their depth, with their mystery. In other words, transform your search for understanding  into a love story. Why? Because the only way to understand something really in depth is to fall in love with it.

What you love will be revealed gradually; what you love, inevitably, will become close and familiar, simply because love has the power of a universal union. For example, if you like a language, you will learn a lot more of it quickly. Likewise, if you fall in love with chakras, you will understand them much more easily. And the more you understand them, the more they will  become your best friends and they will make your life  happy as never before.

    Chapter 1. CHAKRA BASICS

"When you touch the celestial in your heart, you will realize

that the beauty of your soul is so pure, so vast and so devastating

that you have no option but to merge with it. You have no option but

to feel the rhythm of the universe in the rhythm of your heart."

The Seven Chakras: A Cosmic Reflection

According to the ancient rishi (saints), all our universe, our macrocosm, emerges from a cosmic source, the Spirit, which they call Brahman or Sat-Chid-Ananda. Swami Vivekananda, a yogi of the last century, gave this explanation: Brahman ... has nothing other than Himself; nothing  else. All this, in fact, is He. He is the universe. He is the universe itself. You can understand this mechanism when you are at the cinema. During a film, just in the most intense and dramatic moment, if you look up for a moment you will notice that all the fascinating images you see on the screen come from a ray of light that is emitted by a hidden projector. Likewise, all our world, with its infinite
