This experience triggered a lost love as she rediscovered her gift and started collecting and sharing it with others through more spoken word venues. She's performed in Dallas , Lake Charles , New Orleans and several poetry spots in Houston. She loves her family and friends and enjoys life to the fullest as she quietly puts her passion to paper to embrace her gift and share it with others. Cato is her oldest son that let his fingers dance across the ivory keys of musical tones of the piano. Javen is her youngest with the gift of the art of singing with an old soul voice of control and smoothness. She thanks God everyday for Him blessing her womb not once but twice!

Show the World Quiet Talking Girl
Only you and God know the inner you
And what others know is only by what you say and do
See, my physical being and my shy face
Leaves traces here and there of a small taste
Of how I feel and how I’ve grown
To be one of the beautiful miracles of Adam’s rib bone
Because all you know about this quiet talking girl
Is what I choose to show the world!
Everyone can see my smile that covers my personal story
And my eyes that glow with happiness and tears of thankful glory
For my temple holds my story enriched with wisdom and experience
A world unique to my heart and soul as only God can make the difference
Because all you know about this quiet talking girl
Is what I choose to show the world!
As I pray for guidance and direction to truthfully live my dreams
Even if my comfort level is shaken a little to get to what seems
To be the answer and completion to my unfinished chapters
To serve my purpose on earth which is what really matters
Because all you know about this quiet talking girl
Is what I choose to show the world!
To satisfy the wants and needs of my inner you
Which is my spirit given by God as he directs me what you do
So I’ll follow my dreams with care and include prayer to show me the way
To live my purpose here on earth in my special way
Because all you know about this quiet talking girl
Is what I choose to show the world!
Do You Love Me?
I stared deep with much thought as I asked this question calmly
From the depths of my soul, do you love me?
Looking back at me exactly the same way
I was asked, Did you touch someone’s life today?
Were you unselfish when you prayed?
For the ones who are lost and need to be saved
For the sick and the homeless and the needy
Did you also pray for the heartless and greedy?
Did you do something today that would help someone tomorrow?
Did you add substance to your legacy for others to follow?
And as I was asked these questions, I focused on my purpose here on earth
For I know I must love everyone by sharing and embracing my gift to increase my worth
So I asked the question again, do you love me, for I try to do my best
I know I’m not perfect but I pray through my many tests
And I know I love the Lord our savior, Jesus Christ
For who he is, what he stands for and why he was sacrificed
And as I saw the word ‘Yes’ fall from my lips through my soul, I got a chill
As I continued to stare in the mirror and said You are a child of God and if you don’t love yourself who else on this earth will!
So I can stand here today with the answer Yes
from my soul spiritually
To the question Do you love me?
Yes I Have Big Eyes
I have been blessed with big eyes and I thank God for them everyday,
because they are the windows to my soul.
My soul, the door to my heart, makes me love in a very big way
and capture the essence of life so I’m told.
They catch the attention of many so that I may bless them
with my smile as they stare at my angelic face.
It even slows some people down to smile back no matter
what’s going in their lives, exchange of kindness then takes place.
Yes I’m blessed to have big eyes and there’s no way they can get
away with even the smallest
