Although this is my first publication, I have written unpublished documents that has been used by those in ministry and social groups.
The eleventh of twelve children and born in Toledo, Ohio where I now resides. Now retired, I was a senior designer for an automotive corporation. Today I am an ordain divine minister for the Moorish Science Temple of America, inwhich I am a life time member. I enjoy writing, classical music and sports.

Matheno Bryant Bey is a realistic writer, his themes relate to the common things about people. The beauty, faith and love etc, all comes within his understanding as to what he see in people seeking something inspiring to reap, that will renew their faith in each other. He paints a picture in quotes of love and unity and yet he shows that there is still a part of life that one must guard against. These are uplifting and inspirational quotes that are generated from deep thought. They generate thoughts that are harvested in the mind about one’s self. Under accomplishment he says: To imagine is to dream, to act upon imagination makes the dream come true. Under freedom he says: Freedom is a privilege that one Takes for granted, until it is threaten or taken away. Under love he says: Love is like a snowball, if you throw it away you have nothing; but if you keep it rolling, it will keep on growing. Under war he says: Power is an illusion, yet it is the goal that the ambitious strive to gain. Under family he says: Always honor your father and mother and receive the blessing of being so honored, in your later years. Under death be says: One must learn that you live life and accept death. In many of these quotes there is a sense of a personal relationship. “A family should be about peace and shared love; the bigger the family the more love there is to share.” These quotes are for people in general, especially for those you live with stress and need something to promote a glimmer of hope in their life. These quotes are related to the common things about people supporting people. The way the world is today one welcome something that might give them a positive or uplifting thought that might brighten their day. Although this is his first published book, he has written many books on various subjects. This book is what people needs today, so that is one of the reason why be decided to have it published. This book reflects the life of a child who was protected from the outside world as a child but in the middle years of life he had to face the reality that all people didn’t love. Matheno is the ninth child of a family of ten children, he was born in Toledo, Ohio where he still resides with his wife and children and some of his grand children. He served three years in the army and was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division and received an honorable discharge. He was a senior designer for an automobile supply company where he retired after 35 years of employment. Today he is an ordain minister in the Moorish Science Temple of America. He enjoys all kinds of music, sports and writing.
