This story is about the love of someone who cares for another person's child. Doesn't have to be a biological parent. Even in animals.

A baby giraffe was born, his biological mother was sick and could not care for him. She began searching for someone else to give him love that she was unable to give him due to her sickness. She loved him more that words could say.

This book was written after adopting my son from the same situation. His biological mother was sick and couldn't care for him. She found me and I knew I would love him unconditionally.

Louise Kelley

Mary Louise Kelley works as a kindergarten class foster grandparent for the Township Three Elementary School. She loves children and she has one biological daughter, which is a kindergarten teacher, and an adopted son. She loves them both equally. She also has a granddaughter. Being an adopted parent, she wanted her children to know that they are loved regardless of being adopted or biological. Mary Louise Kelley hopes that the readers will enjoy Stretch the Giraffe and know that they are loved.
