These are the true accounts that have been passed down for many years. These stories could never start with once upon a time but they could carry you away and take you to a place, before people were people and places were places. This is the story of Zandelyn and the Water Maid. Now, at this time Zandelyn was the most beautiful fairy of her kind. She stood no bigger than an inch tall and her wings were just as big as her body, so big that her feet never touched the ground. She had long thin dread locks and shinny pink gems in each one. She was also blessed with the colors of the evening sky on her dress and wings. The maids that gathered the gems, to put in her hair, lived in the water pond of Mir. But, because she was a fairy the one thing she could not do was go into the water. Her delicate wings would break apart and she could never fly again. Seeing that Zandelyn never learned to walk she would not risk it. Then it hit her and she called to Princess Nirvanna.....
