About this ebook
It is up to us to help our fellow man over come and rise above these issues that hold us prisoners of the mind. We have to realize that we cannot and will not move forward without reaching out to each other for help. We are all walking in shared shoes.
TANGELLA BRAYLOCK WEATHERSPOON
About Timothy Robinson As a young man growing up in New Jersey I have been influenced by the many dynamics of art, music, writing, singing and acting has been a staple within my family. All have been a part of my family since the day I was bought home from the hospital. My mother, Sherrill M. Robinson (maiden name Jenkins) use to always say to me that I had the talent demonstrated in this book. Throughout my childhood, I've listened to my peers rap over the course of time it grew into me which in turn opened up a talent not only to be honed, but to express myself to others. There are not many people like me who grew up with the silver spoon but I hope that and I thank God that the utensils I have gained helps me feed everyone. About Tangella Braylock Weatherspoon I am not anything like Timothy who had the natural talent of poetry. I had to grow into my talent. My talent become even more developed after facing several bad situations in life and a failed marriage. I had to turn to something that kept me sane and that was God and my writing. I started out with a simple journal and later expressed myself through poetry. Writing helped me to express myself without having to speak a word with my mouth. I grew up in a small town where most people never left because once you get comfortable in a situation; One feels that there is no reason to change. I knew I wanted more so I ventured off into the world by joining the United States Navy where I visited many places and experience more then I could have ever imagined. I eventually got married and had children. No, the marriage didn't last but with everything that happens in life comes a valuable lesson. I learned that it wasn't my time to settle so here I am venturing off into another chapter of my life starting with this book. I hope you all enjoy and this will not be the last one.

SHARED SHOES
One size fits all, does it matter who tries it on?
Words of expression to encourage you while you are going through.
Life’s routines that leave you isolated which is fulfilled in lonely shoes.
Just when doubt dawns down your size is a unique fit.
The support on the ankles, the sole helps carry your wit.
Your toes have new friends.
Keeping it real and holding on tight knowing that God is guiding you.
Although we are all different in our own form and fashion.
Sharing a special word with someone can show so much compassion.
It’s not about what we wear or what we drive.
It’s about how we live our lives.
We traverse daily alone in our thoughts.
Avoiding lies and catches knowing the truth must be caught.
Outliving possibilities of quitting, never stopping overall.
Fighting to the end bringing on a hell of a brawl.
PART ONE
HIS SHOES
TO MY GENESIS
I should cry on the first of each month, the tears will be out of sorrow.
Cleanse the pain of loss out of my system, yet it will be here tomorrow.
I will challenge the next day with strength, rejuvenated and newly found.
I will keep smiling with my head upright and focused with my feet firm on the ground.
As I carry on the spirit of a woman who never held her tongue.
Her words are bonded with the man she ordered and groomed to be one.
Family second, friends third, pleasure and women are items that comes a many.
She will say never let yourself have to wait, please your own will if for someone, I am plenty.
As a child I never knew why you had to marry, I never knew you were single.
Living day after night wishing out of all people with that man you did not mingle.
Mother, as a boy I got on your last nerve so much I cause you to cuss.
Especially when nagging and getting pulled out of bed, nagging with fuss.
During my time of need you were there not because of your title because of your care.
I sit alone, look at my side, and not feel but see you actually sitting right there.
All cried out I can never say I can be, but with
