Loving literature and the adventure a good book can take you inspired me as a young child to be an avid reader. As I grew older I played with poetry finding unique ways to send messages that were dear to me. As an adult, my messages have become less dark and more concerned. My first series of books are short novelettes about the Elementals and the destruction of the Earth. The mistreatment of the Earth and its inhabitants are something that I hold dear to me. Recognizing everyone is unique but should be allowed to express themselves. The fantasy realms help me leave the world we live in, and adventure in one we would only dream of. The adventures I write are a combination of my dreams and beliefs brought to life. I had worked in manufacturing most of my life and had been downsized several times. I went on to college received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Programs and am now a Buyer/Planner by day and Fantasy write by night. Writing started out as a way to express and vent about the trials of life. It has grown to be a way to share with others who want to get away from the stress of life to a world of beauty and magic.

Chapter 1: Vision
Annabella’s vision is one she cannot explain its meaning. Images of the youthful woman, frightened. She could recognize that she was searching for an object. Frustration wins over Annabella. She pursues her brother Dominic out. He always helps her make sense of situations.
She roams through the Faye Queen’s fortress looking for Dominic and discovers them in Adara’s sitting room. They lay on the leaf-like couch talking and snickering like juveniles. Ever since that day he and the Queen met, they have been inseparable.
I am so sorry to disturb, a vision, it makes little sense. Dominic, I was hoping you may help me.
Annabella interrupted the two.
The Queen and Dominic both sit up as they notice Annabella, gesturing to her to go with them in this indoor forest. They build all the furniture, created from the branches and leaves that grow out of the trees around them.
Tell us your vision and Dominic hold her hand and mine. I too can see what she perceives to figure it out."
Dominic sits between the two women and holds their hands. Annabella closes her eyes and shows what she sees. The young slave is rifling through her master's things searching for something. One guard questions her. Dominic’s body becomes tense as the rage in the guard and the fear in the girl fills him. The emotions in the vision cause Dominic’s body to shudder and his runes glow in protective spells.
Adara looks to Annabella, Do you know this woman?
No, I have never seen her before, and more keep observing.
Annabella closes her eyes as she reveals the guard is throwing the slave to the ground and dragging her from the room by her hair and forces her into a cell. The slave stands as the guard locks her cell and turns to the male roommate with her. A young man, golden hair and blue eyes, the eyes of a soul Annabella have been searching. The vision ends.
Adara drops Dominic’s hand she expresses to Annabella, The slave’s cellmate that is Kaleb! The Timekeeper is in him!
Annabella looked to the Queen with tears forming in her eyes, I was expecting you would declare that. I cannot figure out who the slave is or where they are. There is nothing outside the master bedroom or the hallway they are dragging her through. I assume she is essential to us.
My best theory is she is a prisoner at one of the dark witches’ fortresses. The Elementals have been hunting for months to find the six witches that escaped the battle and Haresh since he killed Gavina. We need to reconvene with them and figure this out. This scene will take place soon. Do you perceive how long your visions go out?
A month, at the absolute most.
You can only learn where a path weaves, and the Fates cannot weave the paths until it decides, and the factors are in place.
Dominic looked to his sister and said The girl has powerful magic in her. She does not realize she is a Druid.
She had no runes?
Not until she uses her magic, which clarifies why Kaleb is there, he must guide her, and she must be relevant or was important and must need protection. Or she is both.
Adara goes into her trance-like mode and calls out to Wyatt. Searching the realms within her mind looking everywhere and realizes he is here. He is already on his way to them with the Elf Zidon and the Dwarf Gem.
Wyatt will be here any minute; we will wait for him and learn what he wants too.
Chapter 2: Water Searches
It has been months since I have received anything in the pools. Where could the dark witches hide? I ran my hand through the tepid waters and searched to find all the sections of the Earth. I used to identify them by the death rates increasing where ever the witches are. Anymore the humans are slaughtering each other without the Witches influence.
One small village massacres each other. I cannot guess what prompted these outbursts. Sometimes it reads as if over food, or a home, other times it looks as if they do not like each other. I scrutinize the village as they fight, and still, they refuse to grow more food. One town has polluted a new river, and another filled one in again. I do not understand these creatures.
I glance at my doorway to discover Terra watching me. Shaking her head as she views the humans continue their destructive path. Pain in her eyes. I recognize she suffers as the Earth and with Desdemona still trapped in the Earth. She endures.
We will figure this out.
I try to sound reassuring as I regard the scene in the ponds.
She shakes her head yes, but still does not speak. She continues to examine the fights erupting in the pools of water. How will we locate the witches if the humans continue to behave as if the witches are influencing them everywhere? I recognize that is not workable.
Terra, we will find the witches, and then we can expel Desdemona from the Earth, and you can heal it. This one small village appears more destructive than the others.
I wave my hands over the pools and call in the village of Keokuk.
Terra looks at the pools with concern in her eyes, the people divided and dragged into the largest building in the village while others continue to fight. That is odd, even for the humans fighting. What has them divided, how do they determine who to kill and who to imprison?
We should call the others and travel to Keokuk.
I will reach out to Adara and Gaia,
Terra speaks as she continues to scrutinize the scene as it unfolds.
I will reach out to Sera and V.
Terra tensed at the bringing up of Sera’s name, Are you certain she is ready?
I expect it is time to find out, have you come to terms with what transpired. I recognize you considered that your home. Have you even talked to Sera?
No, I am not over the inferno.
Terra, Connor has accepted what happen, and he did not know of what we are. She is your sister. Do you believe you can control your emotions to prevent something like that? What if it was Wyatt tied to that tree, and you were to burn? You understand what love can do to one’s mind; Sera had experienced nothing like that. Should I remind you of your temper tantrums?
It hurts, knowing those people were good at heart. I consider these other villages and wonder why it could not have been there where they destroy each other for no reason.
The Fates have their reasons. Call Mother and Adara. I will reach out to V and Sera.
I could not keep the harsh tone from my voice. Sometimes Terra forgets she has made wrong choices too and acted out of haste and anger. As Elementals, we need to control our powers. Therefore, Gaia has not stepped down we are not ready.
In my clamshell chair, I sit and reach out to V first. I call on to you my sister of the Wind, the Air, and the atmosphere.
Here,
V replies as if she has been waiting.
Terra and I sense something is up in Keokuk, will you join us?
Zach and I will be there.
No questions? I have heard nothing from you for months. What have you been doing?
Zach and I have been collaborating with the dragons, trying to convince more of them to help us?
And?
Draco does not agree that it is a promising idea. He will send a few, in human form, but they are not to transform in front of humans unless it becomes necessary. He has not forgotten his time on Earth, what the humans did.
I understand, I reach out to Sera, we will need her too if it holes a witch up there.
V left. I do not know if she heard the last part. That Elemental is unpredictable and does whatever. Reckless. I allow myself to relax for a second and then I reach out to Sera.
I am here.
She still sounds broken; I was hoping this time with the Faye and Connor would help her recover faster. She is not sick, but she has to get past what happened. We need her at full force to fight the witches.
Something is going on in Keokuk. We need you and V and the Faye. Terra is reaching out to Adara and Gaia. One Witch is there.
Terra is ok with me being there?
She is still working through things, but yes she knows we need you, I need you, Sera.
Connor will be with me.
Then she is gone. My sisters will be the death of me. I hope Father and Mother understand this. How am I supposed to hold everything together and save the Earth?
I stand and walk through the pool of water and ride the clouds to just outside Keokuk.
Chapter 3: Isabel’s Rule
Isabel returned to her tower after hunting for materials to make potions. That idiot Haresh thinks I will help him release Desdemona. She will try to take over everything. I will trap her in the ground permanently.
My new home, this village, and these people will die for me. They fight amongst themselves, survival of the fittest, only the strong survive. I glimpse around and appreciate how well it is working out. A small smile reaches my face as I recognize what I have conducted with that controlling Desdemona gone.
I reach the tower. My followers drop to their knees to show they worship me and only me. Enveloped in the power of their worship surging through me, I can perceive how Desdemona became so arrogant and powerful, but I will surpass her in power. I am as strong of a witch as she, and I am smarter than any of them.
I walk down to the cages where I keep the potential magic people; the ones that could be a danger. I may convert them into a dark witch like me. Wiccans and Druids are so into peace and love they make it difficult. I can show them the power. They will join me.
I search through the cages and find the girl, Hannah, Her mahogany brown hair, and eyes. The magic emits from her like a glowing perfume. She keeps escaping my cages though. The guards are always finding her searching the rooms for an object.
Hannah, step forward please, I would like to speak with you in my room. Can you be civil?
Darts shoot from her eyes as she looks at me, civilization is not a choice with her. She turns her back and walks back to a corner of her cell. Refuses to collaborate with me, she is the most powerful person here, but will not let me teach her how to use her gifts. She does not speak to anyone. I have a guard that keeps asking to have her. If she does not work with me soon, I should give up on her and let him own her.
Jarrick!
I called the guard interested in her.
Yes, my lady
He runs to greet my call. He knows how to stay in me favor.
"How has our little Hannah behaved today? Did she stay in her
