Steven is a philosopher, therapist and coach who has had a lifelong interest in the theory and practice of personal transformation. Having studied and taught traditional Western Philosophy, he trained in and practiced psychoanalytic psychotherapy in order to put his knowledge into practice and to teach others to do the same. The question of “what is the good life?” has been haunting him from early youth up to the present day. His understanding of the holographic nature of the universe and mind has revealed the simple but profound truth that the whole is implicit in each and every one of its parts. This means that how we do anything is how we do everything. By adopting the age old practice of mindfulness and working in a group of compassionate people, Steve proposes to directly and indirectly help a million people attain the level of transformative awareness flourish and lead the good life.

    This Kindle book was written to whet your appetite for the journey of flourishing, for the journey of living the life of your dreams. It is intended as a beacon for kindred spirits to gather and together form a community of those who seek to awaken to lasting happiness.

    Our Community gathers at the Facebook Group called The Academy for Flourishing

    GROUP MANIFESTO

    1. The aim of the Academy is to introduce the science and art of flourishing practices to a million people. Flourishing means living a life of lasting happiness.

    2 Ancient wisdom traditions confirmed by contemporary neuro-science enables us to understand what flourishing is and how to achieve it

    3. There are six dimensions of flourishing; autonomy, self-acceptance, purpose, positive relationships, mastery of circumstances and connectedness to the whole.

    4. There are six levels of increasing awareness that enhance flourishing: instinctual, habitual, intentional, creative, meta-awareness and transformational

    5. Only you can flourish, but you can’t flourish alone. You need a guide. Having a supportive mastermind group is also very helpful.

    6. The Academy proposes to launch intensive mastermind groups in which each of the members are aligned with each other and pledge to help one another overcome any and all obstacles
