Reviews for Summary of The Strange Death of Europe
5 ratings3 reviews
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Europe's lemming-like rush to oblivion is horrifying to watch. What's infuriating and mystifying is the utter state of denial that infects Europe's elites. If you love figurative art, gothic cathedrals, symphony orchestras, fine wine, beer gardens, intellectual curiosity, technical innovation, romance, appreciation of nature, beautiful fashions, charming towns--in short, everything that has traditionally made Europe great--and worry about what will happen to these things when Muslims and Africans take over, then this book is for you. Murray's tone is fairly gentle, but his mountains of facts speak for themselves. Amazingly, Murray doesn't just discuss the history and politics of this issue; he also, toward the end of the book, gets into the big stuff, like the meaning of life and the role of religious faith. Read this book, and weep for Western Civ.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great info that is not readily talked about in the news.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The great historic book in which Author Douglas Murray collects together the factual details that make out the case that the Europe we know is dying, actually that it is being murdered by its elites.
