INTRODUCTION
The ketogenic diet, has been referred to as one of the most effective and beneficial diet an individual can follow. A diet focused on the consumption of low carbohydrate, high fat and moderate protein has been responsible for improving blood sugar levels and triglyceride, effective weight loss, reducing intensity of diseases such as epilepsy, obesity, Alzheimer's disease, type 2 diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome and some types of cancer.
However, no single diet in the world embodies an 'all in one' health benefit, like the vegetarian diet, one of the world's healthiest diet; reduces the possibility of common heart diseases, diabetes and enhances a better healthy living than an average non-vegetarian diet.
But considering the fact that majority of the fats expected to be consumed on a ketogenic diet, sterns from meats, fish, poultry, eggs and it’s like; the ketogenic diet is not really suitable for people on a vegetarian diet and vegans in general. So how does a vegan or an individual on a vegetarian diet enjoy the benefit of the ketogenic diet without leaving a dent on his/her belief or subjecting his/her diet to a
