About this ebook
Kenny is a bored, lonely twelve year old from a town on the outskirts of Carlisle, desperate for an adventure. His life is repetitive and mundane, starting with a morning paper round and ending alone, playing video games. It is on his run of the mill paper round that he chances upon a crashed spaceship and cannot help but investigate.
On board he encounters the Chiti, a mysterious alien race whose ship has been shot down in battle, whilst rescuing the Prince of Lanti. Kenny joins their mission to protect the Prince and the future of their galaxy, helping them to integrate into Earth life and hide from their enemy, the terrifying anarchists the Munisiria, whilst they await rescue. The forthcoming challenges cause Kenny to draw on courage and bravery he didn't know he had as he fights alongside the Chiti in a seemingly impossible mission.

Prologue
Mayday, Mayday!
The deck was illuminated by flashing red lights. Sirens howled as the vessel lurched from side to side, forcing the crew to cling on to anything they could to remain upright.
Come in, Captain Zorp.
Mayday! We have been hit, I repeat, we have been hit.
Sir,
a panicked voice called, engine one is down!
We’re losing altitude, Captain!
Navigator,
Zorp continued, wiping sweat from his brow, we have been hit by an enemy vessel; we are rapidly losing height and our engines are failing. We must make an emergency landing at once.
Message received and understood. According to our navigation, your nearest safe landing is on a tiny life-supporting planet named Earth.
Without warning, the ship plunged into descent, spiralling uncontrollably, throwing everyone on the deck through the air and into the far wall.
I have entered the coordinates into your system. You’re redirecting as we speak.
Thanks for the warning,
Zorp said under his breathe, groggily pulling himself to his feet.
Zorp stumbled over to the ship’s tannoy system, pulling the speaker towards him.
This is Captain Zorp speaking. All crew, brace for emergency landing.
The ship took a sharp twist, once more throwing the crew to the floor. Zorp crawled over to an emergency landing seat and began to strap himself in. He was reassured to see the rest of his men doing likewise.
Zorp?
a crackling voice transmitted into his ear.
I hear you, Lord Protector.
Is the package intact?
The package is alive, my Lord. My best man is protecting it.
Zorp paused, pondering his next words nervously, But Sir, they know that we have it.
The Lord Protector remained silent for some time, his rasping breathing the only sound audible.
I will dispatch a team to Earth to extract the package from you and bring you home,
he finally replied. "But they will not be with you for a few days. Zorp, you must protect the package. If they take it, the battle is lost.
I understand, Lord Protector. I will protect the package with my life.
Before Zorp could ask for further guidance, the vessel hurtled into the ground with bone shuddering force.
Chapter One
Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.
The morning was a particularly bleak one, with a freezing rain soaking Kenny as he completed his paper round. As he trudged along the muddy country path, he became aware of a distant, subtle noise, easily missed by the less well honed ear.
Suddenly, the dark sky was brightened by a falling, flashing object. It crashed into the ground a few fields away with a deafening bang,
