The Motivation Negative
For many in modern society collage maybe just out of reach and for those unfortunate souls their goals in life may never be reached around the world as we know it today. For those lucky enough to find their way to an accredited collage well good for you. The purpose of this short book is not to give you straight up answers to questions but rather show you how I personally maintained a straight an average in collage to obtain my associates in medical administration a degree I earned sitting around watching tv day in and day out that right. Currently im working on my second degree a bachelors in forensic science, and psychology once again im obtaining straight A’s.
At age 18 I found myself at a cross road in life coming from a home filled with extreme violence and physical/mental abuse daily I quickly learned to fend for myself. I grew up in and array of situations as a result often finding myself in a foster care system by age 13 at age 12 I ran away and was missing for almost two months before police stumbled across me living with a homeless man who taught me how to survive the street he was at least 50 plus years of age. Once police and the county had their hands on me I first would end up in a juvenile detention center for a week or two then moved to a group home facility.
Almost immediately the staff would enroll me in a local school system then take me to buy new clothing. Often these situation would not last as most of these types of homes offered only short term care for children my age if a home cannot be found many times I would be sent right back to the juvenile detention center till another group home would have room for me then the process would start all over again during this time I never got any form of real education in fact at one point no one had any idea what grade I was even in because of the fact I missed more school than I ever attended back then if you ask me I never really made it past 8th grade. High school was about 1-year total for me as I was forced to live in the streets by my parents, so I missed high school.
Then one day everything changed around age 17 I was picked up by police again as a runaway simply because my parents learned they could possibly be arrested if the county found out the abandoned me onto the streets at age 15 and basically told me id be killed if I returned home. There was a monster from Mexico living in our home who hated white little gringo bastards as she put it. Claiming there was no room in her home and heritage for little gringo monsters this maniac was living in my house it was not hers and in the end this bitch stole the house and sold it out from under my father then ran off with a drunk a friend of my father.
This woman deliberately made me fail in school often she would help with my home work showing me the wrong way to do the work almost every time. Because of what she was doing I was failing every single class in school when I did attend and wasn’t locked up. After a while I basically gave up on school altogether, however a judge had different ideas for me. One day I ended up in a juvenile court with some jerk off judge named Peterson who refused to listen to one word I had to say he just labeled me an incorrigible monster who going to end up in a youth prison?
My response screw you I did nothing wrong im the dam victim her not this maniac who beat us nearly to death daily this judge listened to the lies of this women for years my life was ruined by age 12 because of this same woman who tried to murder me and my sister several times as children it’s the reason I ran from home in the first place. During this hearing this judge decided im going to school one way or another. During the court hearing I tried to tell this jerk off judge my story but he could give a crap I was then sent to job corps against my will in los Angeles where again I was locked inside a building for the first three months.
At first, I really hated the place it was boring it was extremely ugly and it was in smog infested downtown los Angeles. The place was like an old office building converted into bedrooms of two-man, four-man and 6-man rooms 15 stories tall. At first, I was located on the north end of the building on the thirteenth floor the moved to the south west corner a two-man room. As a new student you are confined to the building for 90 days except for Wednesday group outings to game shows the beach or a movie downtown.
During this time, I was required to take basic ged classes and two trade classes at the local collage or technical college. Taking an unusual approach to future employment I choose graphic art classes for magazines and newspaper. My second choice was industrial painting and repairs I completed both classes however I was not allowed to attend the graduation and was sent home early due to my roommate having a party the very week we completed school I was at the beach I can home just in time for the councilors to show up and blame everyone these kids were smoking pot and drinking beer on campus a big violation that gets you kicked out fast.
At that point about 18 students were forced to go home including myself I was extremely angered by this and basically gave up school for good that was 1984. For decades I never went back to school and for almost 10 years I never used my schooling to obtain work I simply took a job driving a forklift in an electronic part factory where I remained employed for about 1 year. After getting tired of the town and job situation I was in I made the decision it was time to leave this hell hole of a state I lived in a place of hopelessness and crappie jobs.
In 1985 I joined the us army nation guards where I excelled very fast, our company broke the national 15mile speed forced march record for the us army. We as a group completed this task in 45-minute verses the old record of one hour fifteen minutes. During this time at basic I was given a job and that job was to personally escort Hollywood’s Patty Duke, she was on some sort of uso effort at fort Benning. Over the next few decades I ended up baby sitting countless stars who I wont mention here, but I will say one of those people was a us president.
Now that you know a small amount about me I will try to get back to the subject at hand and how I excelled in my collage classes almost effortlessly. Now don’t get me wrong there was not one thing at all easy about collage and the classes I took it was a set of constants that helped me succeed and leave procrastination by the curb as I excelled even further in the courses. Yes, I did have issue during these classes some with the class itself some with teachers in other situation it was the resources that caused issues. Please keep in mind this book is designed for online classes not brick and mortar classes
