    Chapter 1

    Kiruna

Kiruna (Underground Prison), 1 Mai 2004

A woman was visiting the Kiruna facility. She was there to collect secret information about a person called Mika Gayya. He was in Prague for the next few days, this was a chance for the organisation she worked for to execute one of their known enemies. An enemy who was able to expose the organisation.

She stood up and walked towards the glass behind the warden’s desk. He also stood up and followed her. They had a direct view of what was called the pit. It was disturbingly silent and there wasn’t much action down there.

‘Do you like the view miss Houser?’

‘I don’t know why we keep scum alive. Such a waste of time and money.’

‘For me it’s just a job. For many others, this is a source of very detailed much needed information. ‘

One man was sitting in the centre of the pit and looked like a barbarian. Long dark hair. Because there was almost no light, she couldn’t tell exactly which colour. He was muscled and scarred. He wore a white tank top and jeans.

    ‘Who is that?’

‘Freaks the hell out of you, doesn’t he?’

‘There’s more than just him required to scare me.’

‘It’s our greatest asset. He’s the enforcer down there. Everyone down there respect him. And when we need some tough guy to talk, he’s the one we use.’

    ‘What is his name?’

‘I don’t know. He’s a ghost to me. To all of us here. Since the day he arrived, he already was a mystery.’

    ‘Impressive.’

‘They do have a name for him. They call him the savage.’

‘To be honest sir, he’s not my type.’

Kiruna (Undeground Prison), 11 October 2004

The facility kept sixteen inmates at this moment. He was the one that has been kept here the longest. Most of the others already passed away or were simply missing. Which was a synonym for also executed. He was estimated to be 1.88 metres long and had dark brown hair that reached beyond his shoulders. He wore a ponytail like Reno Raines from Renegade. He was sitting in the middle of the room on the only chair beneath the only sunlight that entered the facility. The door opened and the sound of two persons came closer and closer. One was a man who was balding and probably 1.83 metres long. He was in shape for his age but then again, it was really dark in the facility. No one had a clear view of him.

‘I heard you did a great job so far Mr. Crowne. And it won’t be so long until you’re time is served. But to be honest, we don’t need you anymore to get people to talk. So that leaves me in a tight position. I asked myself the same question for the last two weeks, what to do with this almost loyal killer that I own.’

‘An educated guess, you try to kill me?’

‘Well, the fact that you tried to escape for seventeen times in the last three years doesn’t make it any easier, does it?’

    ‘Which date is it?’

‘That’s right. It’s your birthday, and I’m going to get you out of here even sooner.’

    ‘But there’s a catch…’

‘Damn your good!’, the old man with a James Spader voice said sarcastic.

‘You still have to work for me the last two years. I mean for the Organisation. But as you said there’s a catch.’

‘You mean the organisation that was initiated by several countries to sustain safety around the globe? What a joke.’ Mitch answered in a serious tone.

‘Do you believe in redemption Mr. Crowne?’, a familiar voice said. The other person.

‘You want me to say that I never gonna kill again or use my skills in advantage of my opponents?’

‘I want you to do something for me.’

‘First tell me who you are. Then we shake hands and I will listen to your offer.’

‘I want you to kill again and use your skills in advantage of your opponents.’

    ‘Makes sense’, Mitch answered lukewarm.

‘And you have to understand, that this is a one way ticket.’

‘Well, as you see it’s pretty cosy around here.’

‘Yeah, about that. If you gonna work for us, you have to clean yourself up. You smell and look terrible.’

‘Well there aren’t any barber’s around you know. Or a nice warm douche like at your place.’

‘So far with the jokes, will you cooperate?’

‘I’ll hunt for you, I’ll kill for you but I have a rule.’

    ‘And that is?’

‘You have to understand that this is not
