    Materials

    • ⅛ yard each light blue, maroon and purple tonals or solids

    • ⅛ yard each light-medium blue, maroon and purple tonals or solids

    • ⅛ yard medium purple tonal or solid

    • ¼ yard each medium blue and maroon tonals or solids

    • ¼ yard each dark blue, maroon and purple tonals or solids

    • ⅔ yard black solid

    • Backing to size

    • Batting to size

    • Thread

    • Basic sewing tools and supplies

    Project Notes

    Read all instructions before beginning this project.

    Stitch right sides together using a ¼" seam allowance unless otherwise specified.

    Materials and cutting lists assume 40" of usable fabric width.

    Cutting

    From light blue tonal or solid:

    • Cut 1 (2" by fabric width) strip.

    Subcut strip into 6 (2") A squares.

    From light maroon tonal or solid:

    • Cut 1 (2" by fabric width) strip.

    Subcut strip into 6 (2") A squares.

    From light purple tonal or solid:

    • Cut 1 (2" by fabric width) strip.

    Subcut strip into 4 (2") A squares.

    From light-medium blue tonal or solid:

    • Cut 1 (2" by fabric width) strip.

    Subcut strip into 6 each 2 B squares and 2 × 3½" C rectangles.

    From light-medium maroon tonal or solid:

    • Cut 1 (2" by fabric width) strip.

    Subcut strip into 6 each 2 B squares and 2 × 3½" C rectangles.

    From light-medium maroon tonal or solid:

    •Cut 1 (2" by fabric width) strip.

    Subcut strip into 6 each 2 B squares and 2 × 3½" C rectangles.
