New Canterbury Part 1, The Centre Square
Designed by well-known Australian quilt pattern designer, fabric designer and author – Karen Styles of Somerset Patchwork. Karen’s love of traditional fabric and quilt designs has underpinned her commitment to reproduce traditional styles, colours and prints since 2006. This quilt has been designed in her favourite medallion quilt style. Starting with a hand pieced centre in this issue, the quilt radiates out in a series of divine borders featuring 1in hexagons and delightful Variable Stars, as well as piecing combined with English paper piecing.
