The Cathedral Window quilt block takes its inspiration from the curves and colours of stained glass windows in churches and cathedrals. The block became popular in the 1930s and remains a popular quilt block to this day. The Cathedral Window block is traditionally made by folding fabric and hand stitching, but Paula will show you how to machine stitch one from start to finish. The Cathedral Window cushion pattern is a great introduction to the block – and once you've gained confidence with the technique, you can have a play around with prints and design your own.
