Now, before I go on, I want you to remove that picture from your head. I am not a spirit in the afterlife, and nor am I a sheet-wearing spook. I am a ghost-writer. Ghost for short.

Why would someone choose to write anonymously? I have my reasons, but that’s not why I am writing this. I want to talk, not about why I do what I do, but about how I do what I do.

I had been writing for about two years when I accidently stumbled upon the key to my future success. I had received a request from a local author to write a scene for his romance novel. He wrote under a female name – yes it happens – and he was struggling with a ‘woman’s perspective’ when it came to the intimate details. That’s where I stepped in.
