About this ebook

"Four Short Stories and a Pantomime" is a collection of short and diverse stories.

They are "Love In An Elevator": an erotically charged love story which shows us what happens when two attractive members of the opposite sex find themselves stuck in a lift.

Young mum Beth Morgan is after answers that has eluded her for over twenty years in the emotional "After All These Years".

As first seen in my other eBook "Tales From The Trade Secret Forum - And Beyond", Fiona Cope, a twentysomething fan of boyband Trade Secret, finds herself at their first ever Wembley gig and "The Girl In Row Ten" to boot.

Fictitious Celebrity baby Jubilee Diamond: Celeb Child Extraordinaire" lets us into her world with a series of tweets about her birth, Celebrity Parents, best friends Dempsey and Darcey and the worst milk diet ever.

    LOVE IN AN ELEVATOR

AS SHE RUSHED into the elevator just as the doors closed and started up again, she cast a surreptitious glance at her lift companion.

It was the third day in a row he'd taken the same elevator as her, but unfortunately all they'd shared in that time was warm smiles.

Oh, but he was gorgeous! Tousled, floppy brown hair, piercing green eyes, kissable lips, a tattoo sleeve on his right arm and the promise of a taut body under his t-shirt and jeans.

She knew she should've started a conversation with him by now, to find out more about the handsome stranger - especially his relationship status, of course - and his views on Brexit…

But for some reason she was uncharacteristically shy, so all she could do was smile at him as the lift trundled up and up and up…

    Then stopped.

They looked at each other in alarm. W-w-what’s going on? She stammered, as she felt her chest tightening, a feeling she's had before.

I don’t know, he replied as he pressed the door open button next to him - nothing. He then pressed the intercom, shouting for help – again, nothing.

In desperation, he used all his brute strength in an attempt to prise open the doors as she looked on in hopeful anticipation, but to no avail.

She slid down to the floor as she struggled to breathe. He hurried to her side as her gasps sounded more distressed.

Are you asthmatic? He asked in concern as he knelt down beside her. No, I’m… having a … panic… attack… she blurted out as she clutched her chest and tried, unsuccessfully to control her breathing.

He took her hands in his and looked directly into her eyes.

His eyes were full of warmth, kindness and compassion which helped in calming her down. His hands clasping hers were strong, firm and calloused.

Despite her turmoil, she couldn't help but imagine them caressing her thighs, then move upwards as his fingers encircled her most sensitive nub into a pinnacle of ecstasy before deliciously playing with her breasts until she could take no more…

Now, just relax and breathe slowly. Don’t force it; just breathe, her mystery man gently instructed, snapping her back to reality as he stared into her eyes.

Eyes belonging to the face of the gorgeous woman he saw for the first time three days ago and had been thinking about solidly ever since.

Wow… she really is beautiful… he thought. And she was, with smooth, caramel skin, burnished brown hair cascading sexily around her face, dark, expressive eyes, a curvaceous mouth and a body to match under a green top and black gypsy skirt.

He saw as much warmth and kindness in her eyes as she saw in his, as well as the promise of a cheeky sense of humour.

They usually sparkled, but right now, they were filled with fear. She was scared; and silly as it sounded, as he hardly knew her, but he found himself wanting to look after her.

Thankfully, his calm instructions to her seem to be working as she fought hard to regulate her breathing and eventually won the battle.

That better? He asked. "Much better. Thank you. And thanks for trying to get us out
