For my mother Diane; the earth from which I originate. I thank you for the life you have given me; which I must give to the world. Through distance and time, our love remains untarnished. For all that you have given me, I thank you and I love you.
Through our differences on my quest to become a man, may my apologies be accepted, my mistakes forgiven and my love, never forgotten.
For eumelanin and all of its children.

Introduction
Peace, love, knowledge and freedom family. As I give these words, my goal is not to indoctrinate, control, coerce or manipulate anyone. My aim is to bridge a gap and give insight to the transition into the Raw Plant-Based Lifestyle without the big words
and mystically, spiritual namastae-ish
word choices. This is just to present the information for us all to understand. I’ll tell stories, crack jokes, and cuss and shit. You know? Comfortably vibe out to the information. Feel me? Ight, so let’s begin.
So, we’ll go ahead and get the first duh?
moment out of the way. A plant-based lifestyle is just that. A lifestyle of eating where we put only plants into our bodies. The edible plants, of course. Your fruit, veggies, nuts, grains, legumes, etcetera, etcetera. It’s all about putting life and vitality into our bodies. Nothing less. So, with that being said, it’s not a diet. At all. Shit, when you really think about it, the root word in diet is die. Which only makes sense when you consider how many people end up killing themselves (literally and figuratively) on them. But, that’s a topic of its own and has no value here; but I digressed.
What we shall then consider the plant-based lifestyle to be is a livet…and you can quote me on that. Why? Because the basic purpose of it is to encourage and promote life. I mean, it’s basic input and output. If you put life in your body, you get life out. If you put death…well, I’m pretty sure we can all guess where that leads to. *Cues Ray Gibson* The UP-PAH ROOOOOOM! Ha ha. Just a little Life joke. No pun intended. But anyway. Yea, death in, death out. So the ultimate goal of life is to live, not exist. So how do we live? By putting energy back into our bodies.
So just where does this energy come from? Now, I know what you’re thinking I’m gonna say next: From Mother Earth; in all her wonder and bliss. She provides all that her beautiful children need. From the tiny ant to the mighty pachyderm, she provides for us all. Namastae.
And yes, that is a decent answer, but nah. Skip all of that for now. It’s calories. Simple. And calories are the bundles of energy that come from the foods we eat. The energy, itself is created by the positive and negative interactions between the basic components of the food. With that said, the energy (calories) we put in our bodies can either be live (life) energy or dead (death) energy. Yes, dead energy is still a form of energy. It’s not an oxymoron. It makes reference to the energy that lowers the vibrancy of the body’s natural frequency. When this frequency drops to a certain point, sickness and disease creeps in. When it drops lower than that, the body stops. Completely; and any being with a body can face this dilemma; particularly the eumelaninated body. But, any being nonetheless.
So, the raw plant-based livet is about maintaining the natural body frequency to continually move strong, vital energy throughout the body. Hittin’ It Raw is simply to show those who want to do it, how. This is not a magic book or an overnight guide to achieve some irrational ass results. It’s about knowing why it works and how to create a continual process to keep it working. So guess what boys and girls?!?! The achievement is 100% In. Your. Hands. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. I mean, I’m not tryna call y’all horses or anything like that. I’m just sayin’ I can’t do the work for you. I can only give you what you’re looking for. So, are you ready? Well let’s go then.
The Sciency Shit…
True teaching is not accumulation of knowledge, it is an awakening of consciousness.

Why We Ate Meat
This is a question, continually posed, that can
