Claiming His Omega - Ashlyn Hunter

    Chapter One

    Jay

My first mistake was moving into a building full of wolves. The second was thinking my suppressants could keep them away. But my biggest mistake happened on laundry day. I’d been in such a hurry to get in and out of the basement, I’d forgotten to clean out the pockets of my jeans. I know what you’re thinking and it wasn’t a pen. It was much, much worse.

They must’ve been in my pocket.

    Maybe they’re still down there.

    Meaning the laundry room.

    Fuck.

Taking a breath to steady my nerves, I looked at the bedsheets crumpled on the floor. They smelled clean but I decided to throw them into my washing basket anyway just in case I ran into someone on my way down.

I’d made a habit of leaving my apartment when the wolves were asleep, but that was in the middle of the night, not halfway into the morning. Waiting until nightfall wasn’t an option. The longer I waited, the worse my anxiety would get. Not to mention the possibility of losing the pills if they were down there.

Loading the laundry basket as high as it would go, I propped
