Seija D-R Strandberg
Debut author, Seija, was born in Southern Aberta in 2001. She resides with her large family of ten just outside of the city where she spends her free time riding horses, knitting and writing. Writing has recently become a deep passion and Seija hopes to share her stories with readers for years to come.

The forest was silent. Not a creature moved or made a noise for they feared the giant blade would crush down on them and destroy their homes and families.
Little Ant, Little Ant, wake up, wake up,
cried Dotty Ant, Little Ant’s best friend. Spring is here! It’s here! It’s back, so wake up!
Why? It’s still dark out,
whined Little Ant as she pulled a giant green leaf over her head.
Of course it's dark! Your eyes are closed, so let’s go! It’s the first day of spring and we have been cooped up in here for six months. Let's go!
