    It was a beautiful spring day at the park. Athena was spending the day with her Dad, which was always a special time. They played on the swings, watched the ducks in the pond, and walked along the shady paths.

    Finally, they stopped and rested on the cool grass in a clearing. A boy and his mother walked along the nearby path with their dog. It was walking ahead of them, happily wagging its tail and tugging on its leash.

    Athena watched the family walk by, and then turned to her Dad.

    Daddy, can I have a puppy? she asked.

    Athena, he frowned. "You know I travel a lot for work.
