Section I: My Story
Chapter 1: Resilience
This chapter presents the history of my family. It seeks to express the humanness and typical nature of my story. It covers generally my childhood, more of teen years, and ends with my opportunity to play internationally.
Chapter 2: Persistence
This chapter talks about some of the challenges I faced and overcame as I began to play internationally. It describes some of the arena, opponents, and personal situations off the playing field that impacted my development.
My achievements, nickname, and what others would say about my play are presented.
Section II: Mental & Physical Attributes
Chapter 3: Knowledge
We discuss the idea that we make things impossible, but they are possible if we change our mindset. I changed my mindset and motivated myself with this belief (or rehearsal).
The belief is presented along with a daily affirmation that readers can use to encourage themselves.
Chapter 4: Execution
Execute, to carry out; accomplish to execute a plan or order. We examine how I accomplished this.
Chapter 5: Reliability
A list and steps for exercises and diet programs that readers can follow for optimum performance. The guides could be used in development of other sport skills.
Section III: Invention & Your Style
Chapter 6: Perseverance
This chapter explores "Perseveration", the repetition of a particular response (such as a word, phrase, or gesture) despite the absence or cessation of a stimulus.
Chapter 7: Adaptation
This chapter introduces the concept of knowing your opponent. It discusses how I would determine how I would match up with other players and plan my strategy even before the games.
It points out that having a plan allows you to work with more certainty and intentional energy than other players. You work as if you know that you will win in the end.
Chapter 8: Rising to Every Challenge
Life has its ups and downs. We all have challenges that we overcame in life. I share some of mine.
Chapter 9: Deficits To Assets
Making Your Deficits into Assets
This chapter discusses Eldon’s physical attributes that may have made others think that he would not be the best in the sport. The chapter discusses how he overcame the deficits through mindset, health, and practice. It focuses on creativity so that users can apply the same approach to evaluating and overcoming their deficits.
Chapter 10: Body
Health, Nutrition, and Taking Care of Your Body
This chapter talks about the importance of health and the connection between body and performance. It presents some techniques that clarify common practices. It includes techniques that I continue to practice because of their long-term health benefits.
Chapter 11: Attitude
An acquired or predisposed mental state regarding an object with some degree of positivity or negativity, which is perceived from social or personal stimuli.
Chapter 12: Patience
Patience (or forbearing) is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on negative annoyance/anger; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties.
Patience is the level of endurance one can have before negativity. It is also used to refer to the character trait of being steadfast. This Chapter examines this.
Chapter 13: Courage
This chapter discusses courage (also called bravery or valour) the choice and willingness to and with willing essconfront agony, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation, and other related to his church mother.
Physical courage is bravery in the face of physical pain, hardship, death or threat of death, while moral courage is the ability to act rightly in the face of popular opposition, shame, scandal, discouragement, or personal loss. We take the lessons of this book and apply them to other typical challenges that people have, even outside of sports. We walk the reader through mindset, health, practice, strategy, and energy.

The Ability Of A Strained Body To Recover After Caused Damage By Illness, Strain, Compressive Stress Or Misfortune
iluus2.jpgBorn in Georgetown Guyana in 1938, at the age of three I was diagnosed with Asthma, Pneumonia, and Diphtheria. These conditions affected my physical health, making it difficult for me to perform everyday activities with ease. My doctor informed my parents that I should participate in sports to overcome the symptoms of those conditions. I never thought twice about following his advice- I wanted to fight this illness and was ready to go against it. I never thought about letting it stop me.
My father was running a small business by himself and things were working out, until one day, everything caught on fire. His business was destroyed to shreds and without insurance;
