I have carried out cartomancy and astrology consultant for over fifteen years. In this long period I have not only worked with cards and made astrological graphics, but also I have developed one of my main interests on the field: research, which I consider really important and unfortunately many other tarot readers do not dedicate any of their time to it. This book is recommended to those who want to learn or to improve, believe in the study and in the practical experience. May be also useful to the professional who wants to get new inspiration and ideas on some divination and interpretation methods. It is indicated to beginners and passionate ones who know the meaning of the major and/or minor arcane but found difficult to –join- the cards between them, either to interpret correctly the several arcane combinations. Therefore, I have thought of a book –for all- different from many other books on the field. Some may be wondering why I write this book differently from the others. Those who have bought books on the field will realize the answer once they finish reading this text; but for those who approach for the first time to this field and buy my book, I can say that there are lots of texts that explain the meaning of the tarot cards, but there are only a few dedicated to the reader with a large number of practical, real and confirmed examples. On the internet you may find everything about major and minor arcane: their symbolic explanation, their cabalistic and numerological meaning, astrological correlations, etc., but hardly a treaty of practice accompanied by a large number of real and confirmed examples, So, I think it is useful to publish and to read a book about the meaning of the tarot cards that explains within 100 or 200 pages the theory of major and minor arcane, but furthermore; since it is rare on its preparation, a text like this, about practical cartomancy. For the record, I can say that time ago, I wrote my guide of the meaning of the major arcane which will be reviewed, corrected and hopefully published as this text in the future and is available on my personal current website: Astroamore2000.altervista.org.

Let’s get back to what I have to tell you and show you on this work of mine. For years, in my research I have been always curious of writing everything on my agendas that were always full. When I say everything I mean birth date of the consultant and of those people involved (if there were), and then the extracted cards as well as my answer and the date of the inquiry. In this way, just as I suggest to practice, we can make comparisons across time. Not simple comparisons of the kind: did it come true or not?, but much more than that. Cards are not like coins to ask yes or no answers to ordinary questions. We must use them with respect. Often, a question with a yes/no answer comes out, but the cards frequently want to tell us all about the question: states of mind, the reasons, advices and how the situation will evolve. Therefore, in my experience, I do not only search for a statement in my across-time consultation, but also I ask the consultant to describe everything that occurred within the exact time resulted from my prediction. In this way, I can confer the right value to the cards either to the several positions of divination games often mentioned on books of the field that bring back enclosed some different methods but only two or three examples which frequently are not real but only educational purpose; rather than explaining the arcane. Such is the main problem: I think there is nothing better that practice itself in order to learn something, but it is not enough. I think it is useless to practice random things. I mean, I could lead a course about major and minor arcane and to arrange several combinations for days on the table or videoconferencing on Skype (for those who take the private course with myself) and to hypothesize their interpretation. Shall it be proved, anyway? The answer is negative, and even if this teaching method is good, I believe it is yet to improve.

The question is: how? Unless to me, the answer is quite simple: We must endow practice with the certainty of the event. Summing up, in my experience and as I propose to my students, the learning method becomes practical but also qualitative. It is confirmed by all the card spreads which came true among my consultants. So, I do not only share combination and card spread examples with general comments on their interpretation, but examples of card spreads and divination methods confirmed by the events, by experience itself and by my personal research. In this way, from the card spread that I propose to my students and to you in this book, you shall get to know the past, the present and the future of the person, regarding the consultant inquiry. In this way, there won’t be any doubt about the cards reading and we won’t generalize. This method that I propose, which I consider relevant, is quite different from many others texts. I have thousands of consultations to propose to you, but in this book I will only share some of them. However, I remain open upon editors request and in case of having enough time to publish other texts like this with more other consultations transcribed throughout years of experience and confirmed by events.

Now, I would like to observe another important fact which can’t be ignored and which is why it is worth to buy and read this book. This text is not only about reporting and proposing some of my card confirm spreads. The text still would be interesting, but there are plenty of them and certainly I expect someone else to follow and copy this idea of mine as some other professionals have already done in the past on popular social web or even using YouTube videos from my official website as advertising flier for their paid admission websites. Let’s get back to what makes the difference and more interesting this text, which I insist, I think for better or for worse different from many others on the field. Simply, this book, besides of proposing card spreads and real events interpretations, is open to a new way to handle those divination games often reported on the web or in the books.
