Absolutely loved this book! So great. Doesn't seem to go over cards when they are reversed, but it's still great. I will be referring to this book regularly.

Foreword

foreword

Tarot is my hobby and it is best to make it clear up front – I’m not an expert. I just enjoy it tremendously for a decade now, and I’ll share with you the way to make sense out of Tarot (and quickly) in the same way I discovered it.

Note that this book is not meant to be the ultimate resource you’ll need to learn all the depths of Tarot cards’ meanings or to address all the intricacies of performing live Tarot readings.

Its goal is somewhat different: This book’s purpose is to help you learn much, much faster.

Later today when you have finished this book, you will be able to start performing tarot readings all by yourself.

You don’t believe me? Please drop me an email in a few hours and tell me what you think by then. Contact information is at the end of the book.

The method described in the following chapters came to me seemingly by accident. I have used that method myself, to feel like the fog has suddenly lifted.

And at the time I’m writing this foreword to the second edition (Summer 2013), thousands of people have used this same method after purchasing this book via Amazon and others. A great majority of the feedback being unanimously positive and repeating such terms as simple and refreshing.

Any critique was mainly targeted at lacking the traditional rich (and for the uninitiated folks mostly quite mystifying) card-by-card in-depth explanations.

At first it seemed weird to me, since the whole point of this book is precisely to avoid that take one card each day and write down everything that comes to your mind mentality. (And to avoid the 78 days required to implement that otherwise sound advice.)

But some people perhaps purchased a Tarot deck with no book included in the package. Or they felt that any Tarot learning book without such information was incomplete. And to be frank, exploring the richness of Tarot from such detailed book can be great fun and a reward all by itself.
