    Preface: My Search for Truth

For as long as I can remember I have been interested with both fortune telling and numbers. As a child I would find what ever games I could that involved numbers, not in a mathematical way but more like solving puzzles. I remember as a kid, my family taking long car trips to visit with relatives and always stopping at some road side diner with a country store. My sisters and I would be allowed to pick out a travel game to play with in the car (no doubt, to keep us from fighting with each other), and I would always choose the games that were creative and/or had numbers involved.

As a teen-ager, I learned various ways of divining the future. I learned about ESP and other intuitive means to knowing more about the world and ourselves in a much deeper way than what meets the eye. I read books on fortune telling and using intuition and I would practice on family, friends and myself, it was a fun past time.

After becoming an adult, life became busy with marriage, children and work and although I did not pursue using my intuition further, I still was very aware of how using it made a difference in my life. I didn’t take anything as just coincidental; I knew something more was at work.

Life stayed this way until 1997 when I enrolled in school to become a massage therapist and bodyworker. A whole new exciting door to my life opened, and I have never looked back. I am grateful for the school I attended because I learned much more than clinical massage and bodywork. We had classes in using intuition and other spiritual and energetic means to guide us as we worked on others. I also took extra classes outside of school during this time that opened up and emphasized to me the amazing wonder and power of the universe and how to use its phenomenal power to see, know and understand ourselves and each other better. It was an amazing time.

After graduating, I began my career as a massage therapist and opened a private practice. During this time, I incorporated intuition in the work I performed and was amazed at how it was always on target. I also used other healing modalities in my work that uses the same universal energy, like crystals, color vibration and hands on healing and began to offer card and intuitive readings to the public. A few years later I began teaching in various massage schools and seemed to specialize in and was most passionate in teaching the classes that involved intuition and energy work.

Then in 2001, after needing a break from massage therapy, I took a job as a card reader and intuitive in a retail store in a large mall in Salt Lake City, Utah. A great experience in many ways. For two years I had the privilege of sitting with a lot of different people and was able to assist them in many ways. I also had the wonderful experience of answering the questions of those passing by that didn’t know if psychic or intuitive abilities were real. Some thought, as a lot of people are lead to believe, that maybe it was evil and some just wanted to know how it worked. I was more than happy to have lengthy conversations with these folks about the spiritual innate power of the universe and how intuition and card reading is just a simple way of using the universal energy to reveal information to us. After all, as I explained, we all share the same universal energy and it is the same energy that has flowed from the beginning of time and will flow to the end of time. And, if everything, animate or inanimate shares the same energy shouldn’t we be able to use a device, such as cards, to reveal the future or past to us since they are part of the same energy of the past and future? And, doesn’t it make sense that our creator (who is part of this same universal energy) would give us a way, or say a rock (or card) to look under to help understand our lives while on this planet. I believe it’s so.

I would further explain, to those inquisitive folks passing by, that cards are just another rock in which we give a name, picture or meaning that we set our intention to. For example, if we lined up several rocks and said ok, this one will stand for this and this one will stand for that and on and on, and then mixed up the rocks and then placed them in a way that with our intention stands for the future or the past, they would always fall in the right way with the right meaning because we have set our intention and since intention is just a spark of energy manifesting reality, it works.

Those couple of years doing card readings for the public were an amazing time in learning and experiencing the power of intuition and in harnessing faith and belief in the information that comes to the mind. Like most everything else, the more I used the ability, the stronger it became. I was receiving clear information during each card reading from what I believe is my spirit guide and sometimes the information that came would seem to me to be so unlikely that I would actually argue with my guide. But when I began performing professional card readings I took the job very seriously and believed that I was the conduit between the person and their creator to give them information they need to help them on their life path. So when I was told to tell them something that I thought may not be correct or I was afraid of being wrong, I would argue with my guide but would eventually say what ever it was and each and every time it was correct! For example, I went through a phase of having to tell people who I was doing a reading for that I was getting information about a Charlie being either around them or influencing them in some way. After day after day of Charlies, I began to argue with the information saying this cannot be another Charlie, but each time I went ahead and said it to the person at the table, each time they would say, Oh, that’s my grandfather who just passed away, or something like that. It was amazing!

After a couple of years though, the store closed and I went back to work as a massage therapist and instructor but I continued to use intuition and card readings with clients and in my personal life.

Through the next several years I continued to study spirituality and the intuitive sciences as well as astrology, palmistry and basic numerology. I then took a 2 year diploma course in parapsychology that focused on the intuitive sciences of astrology, palmistry and numerology. Although I enjoyed the other intuitive art forms and believe completely in them, it was numerology that made the most sense to me and really resonated with me. I knew from then on that I wanted to know all I could about this amazing science of numbers, and from that I became a master numerologist.

I fell in love with numbers all over again and even though I had studied astrology, Chinese astrology and palmistry, it was numerology that makes the most sense to me. I found the other modalities to be too broad, with too many variances whereas numerology was simple and straight forward each and every time, with each and every person I did a chart for.

I was still doing card readings and in my card readings I always used regular playing cards as well as angel and tarot. But I began questioning the background on the meaning of the regular playing cards in the way I was taught. The meaning of the cards did not match up with numerology. Numerology dates back to ancient times, going back further than the Bible and Kabbalah. In my numerology studies, I had learned how numbers are vibrations of the same universal energy field that I talked about before and that surrounds us all. I also know, as I explained before, that you can use anything in divination, as long as you set you intention with the universe. But I still had a hard time using the
