    Mr. Snarf has been a bad ghost. He hasn't scared people. In fact, he's even made friends! Now some grumpy ghosts are taking him away from Hotel Strange. The hotel's other residents set off to rescue him, taking to the clouds in a hot air balloon in search of the Kingdom of Ghosts.       This is a fun series which I find adorable. First, I just love the art and the characters; they all have a creepy-cute air about them. This story concentrates on Mr. Snarf, a ghost, being arrested by officers from his home, a cloud city. The gang takes off in an hot air balloon to rescue him only to find the ghosts live in a city where it is forbidden to do basically anything. Could incite some discussion about laws, what they are for, and when they go too far taking away freedom. Fun book, I missed #3 so I'm going to go back and read it too.
