    PART 1:

    A Case for Healing

    Chapter 1

    Is Healing for Everyone?

Is healing for everyone? I get that question a lot, especially from loved ones who have prayed and failed to see healing taking place. I believe that healing is for everyone. God’s intention, willingness, and ability to heal has been clearly expressed throughout the Scriptures. As to why some get healed and some don’t, I’ve yet to understand. There are many reasons, beyond the scope of this manual, for why some people don’t receive their healing that I am not prepared to go into here. Since God has yet to tell me exactly why He’s not healing your loved one, I cannot address your question specifically. I believe that when people are equipped with the right information about healing, they will receive their healing. Therefore, the purpose of this book is to show you how you can receive your healing.

‘Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand (Deuteronomy 32:39).

"… If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you" (Exodus 15:26).

"For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the LORD, Because they called you an outcast saying: This is Zion; No one seeks her" (Jeremiah 30:17).

Through these Scriptures and many others, the Lord demonstrates His ability and willingness to heal and restore His children from any disease. I don’t know about you, but I will choose to believe what God has said more than somebody else’s experiences. Believe in God and you will be established, believe in His messengers and you will be established (2 Chronicles 20:20). For as long as we do our part (listen to Him and believe Him), He is committed to healing us. As you journey through this book, keep this in your mind: It is God’s desire that I be healed from this disease; it is God’s desire that I become a vessel to be used to heal relatives from infirmity.

Jesus announced His mission by declaring war on any disease (spiritual, emotional, physical, financial, etc.). Whatever the source, He covered it; so your issue is covered here:

The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed (Luke
