    Introduction

I know firsthand the power that is in the Word of God to heal. Not only have I been healed in my own body, but I’ve watched hundreds of others receive their healing through the awesome power of God’s Word.

The book of Romans tells us that,

…faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

One of the keys to receiving healing is to take the time to hear God’s Word.

On August 15th of 1990, the Lord spoke to me that He had given to me a ministry of healing. Since that time, through ministering at one of the leading healing schools in the world, and on our own, we have endeavored to take the good news of healing to the world. This book is an extension of that ministry.

The four gospels show us that Jesus put the Word of God first place in His healing ministry.

    Luke 5:15 says,

…and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

Basic says, they came …to give hearing to his Words and to be made well from their diseases.

Berkeley says, they came …to listen and to be healed of their diseases.

Jesus placed great importance on the Word of God. We want you to have the same opportunity to hear God’s Word that the people in Jesus’ day had. When you and I take the time to hear His Word, we’re putting ourselves into position to be healed. Hearing always precedes healing.

    Proverbs 4:20-22 says:

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

As you meditate on the scriptures you’re about to read, let them register on your inner consciousness.
